Enjoyed our stay of 4 nights. Room modernist with up to date facilities. Property manager spoke English and helpful. Extra water available on demand. Breakfast included served in restaurant adjacent to hotel.

Es un hotel muy bonito y cómodo, a mi me hubiera gustado que tuviera cafetera en la habitación pero fuera de eso todo muy y el personal super amable. El desayuno si queda un poquito lejos pero esta rico una caminata en la mañana.

Avoid most of the year.
this hotel has a good location and some charm but Queretaro gets very hot most of the year and the lack of air conditioning made the room unbearable. They have a roof fan but it made a horrible grinding noise all night long. Also, they say the parking is over 3 blocks away. Even with a working fan the room was very hot making sleep almost impossible.

Excellent… but
I liked everything! Location, service, parking included, breakfast location. Only thing I did not like it, was the fan. Too noisy at night and was very hot the room. If they are able to change the fan, that would be very helpful for the guests.

I like the location of this property and that it was a good price. However, the towels were a bit too old! Breakfast which was included was not in the property but rather a few minutes walk away and not great. Great to know that it is an eco hotel, however I didn’t like the fact that I couldn’t have a cold shower in the middle of the day when the heat was tremendous!

Excellent in service, cleanliness, and especially the queen size beds. This is a great benefit, most hotels only provide double beds. I suffer from a bad back and the mattresses were nice and firm. Humberto, the daytime manager and Alfonso, the nightime manager were very helpful, arranging for our ride to airport etc. 10 minute walk to main plazas and churches of Centro Histórico. Outside doors are always locked, you feel very secure. The choice of breakfast is quite varied and filling. It includes American coffee and fresh squeezed orange. Only reason they did not receive excellent rating in condition was that water pressure was low in shower. We would also recommend a screen so the balcony doors could be fully opened and breeze would enhance the fan's breeze.

This property does not have A/C nor heaters. When walking around in 80-89 degrees Fahrenheit weather you want to a cool room not a room that is hotter than the outside. The room also does not have a refrigerator to keep water cold to refresh yourself and the room also did not have a safe. My kids and I had to stay at another hotel for the remainder of our vacation after 1 unbearable night where we couldn’t sleep because it was so hot. We were not offered a refund. Also, the food that is offered daily with your stay is at a restaurant that is about 10-15 minute walk away. I would never stay there again, I have no idea how they can be in business without A/C or heaters for the winter.

they had no hot water on the shower, they said they were going to fix it, but I had the same issue both nights I spent there, that really sucks, I had to take cold showers all my stay

Buen día, agradezco su comentario, y como se le hizo saber en su estadía, efectivamente se checo y no se detectó ningún problema con el agua caliente en su habitación ni en ningún otra habitación de las 11 que tenemos, inclusive se checo el agua caliente directamente en su habitación y no se detectó el problema. Lo invito a utilizar de forma correcta las manecillas de la regadera.

This hotel is very clean personal very friendly. The only thing I wish they would have is a coffee maker in room. I need my morning cup, also don’t expect breakfast they don’t have a restaurant.

Beautiful, mini-hacienda like style. Full of art and plants. Common kitchen and dining area. Everyone was super kind and attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

Buenas noches, es una lastima que nos califique con un dos por no contar con aire acondicionado cuando desde que hizo su reserva se le comento que somos un hotel ecologico y amigable con el ambiente, aire acondicionado que se sustituye bastante bien con los ventiladores de techo que contamos. Lo invitamos a crear una conciencia mas amigable con el ambiente y a ser mas sustentable. Saludos.

Very clean and quiet place. Modern snd minimalist decor. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had good sleep. Well maintained. The kitchen was closed, so we can't comment on that. Walking distance from all the museums and historic center. The staff was very friendly. This is gonna be my kept secret place when I return to Queretaro.

Great value, quiet, easily accessible to downtown
We spent 5 nights at Mama Carlota because it was so convenient and easy. Very affordable, quiet, super clean, modern but with comfortable touches. I was able to work comfortably on my computer in the restaurant/lounge and we could walk around downtown super easily too! Very accessible to everything in Queretaro. The only thing to be aware of is that the bathroom has separation away from the bedroom but it didn't have a door (in our room at least). Overall great value and comfortable stay. Thanks!!

A simple, minimal, yet beautiful place in the historic center of Queretaro! Part of me wants to let the world know about this fantastic little gem and part of me wants to keep it a secret! :) We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel and the staff could not have been more accommodating. There was an issue with the ceiling fan in our first room, so the staff relocated us to a bigger room and was so friendly about the entire exchange. It felt as if we were staying in a friend's house! We cannot wait to return.

New, modern and very comfortable
This is a wonderful hotel...it is brand new and is very cool. Sort of wood shop chic (raw wood) combined with very modern seating with an ikea 50’s vibe. Plus it is very ecological with solar panels, refillable water carafes and refillable soap, shampoo and conditioner with very fun and informative info. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is only 3 or 4 blocks from the center of town thru working class area that is not touristy

Es un hotel bonito, limpio, muy bien ubicado, lamentablemente me toco la ola de calor y la habitación tiene un pésimo ventilador que en baja velocidad tenia un ruido que no dejaba dormir, velocidad intermedia no existe y alta velocidad es un viento que no deja dormir, es lamentable que algo tan simple haya generado en mi una pésima estadía al grado de casi no dormir

Todo excelente en general pero en las habitaciones hace un calor insoportable en el mes de Mayo y lo único que tienen es un ventilador de techo de muy bajas velocidades, esas habitaciones necesitan URGENTEMENTE APARATOS DE AIRE ACONDICIONADO.
