We had a terrible experience at the Hyatt Place Provo. Outside our room an industrial sized generator was running and making a huge amount of noise - to the point that our room was vibrating. The hotel is not at fault for the noise , but they should discontinue using those rooms until whatever development is completed. We tried to change rooms but were told they were sold out. Our room was 233, overlooking the pool and a parking garage ( where we suspect the sound was originating ) We did not sleep at all, the noise and vibrating confined all night.

Nice location in downtown. Breakfast bar was excellent. Nice clean gym facility However our room was dusty as if it hadn’t been used in awhile. It was also cold and took a long time to get warmed up. Also it was advertised as a full service restaurant and lounge. The menu online looked great, but that was not at all accurate. They had an extremely limited menu; maybe five items.

I don't like the fact that it costs $$ to park, but at least they have a parking garage now. The road noise was a bit loud. The breakfast was great! The hotel is clean, modern and convenient.

Unfortunately, because of our downtown location, the only way we are able to provide parking for our guests is in the Utah County parking structure adjacent to the hotel. We pay 15,900 per month (190,800 annually) to guarantee parking spots for our guests. The 10 nightly fee help offset this astronomical expense. We appreciate your understanding. Perfect Proximity to Utah Valley Convention Center
The Hyatt was a perfect option for our family while we attended a convention at the Utah Valley Convention Center. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very welcoming.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Must pay for parking but it is close and cheap at $10 per day. Breakfast was passable - nothing to right home about but edible.

Why does Provo close at 9:00?
Our room was huge, very clean and conveniently located to our medical procedure in the morning. The only problem was parking in front of building to check in, then re-park in the parking garage behind the hotel, which costs $10 extra. The other inconvenience is that being in downtown Provo on a Thursday night, after 9:00, there was no place to eat the late dinner we needed, so we had to drive around Provo to find a fast food place that was open. The hotel restaurant had already closed for the evening. But the room was great.
