Amazing long weekend getaway
We had an amazing experience in this lovely renovated Victorian farmhouse. There was room for everyone to be together or pair off into smaller groups with the abundance of rooms and space. The kitchen was well equipped she the pizza oven was a very cool activity and produced some amazing food! We used the basketball court and the pool, as it was very warm this weekend! The host was very responsive to any queries we had. A lovely home in the county, close to all the things we wanted to do! Will definitely be back!

Great spot!
We really enjoyed our stay! The house was a short drive to Picton, which made it convenient for exploring local breweries and restaurants. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and there was lots of space and games to entertain the kids. The pizza oven was a unique bonus! Monica was a great host, quick to answer any questions we had.

Incredible family getaway
My family and I had an amazing time at the Farmhouse! The home was beautiful with lots of space to hang out, and lovely design and decor. The exterior of the home was just as wonderful with lots of space for the kids and dogs to run around, plus a playground which got lots of use! Can't wait to return in the summer and try out the pool! Thank you for hosting us!

Atmospheric Location for Thanksgiving weekend
The house was exactly as portrayed on line. It was an historic country home with all modern conveniences laid on. We loved all the indoor space, the really well planned and spacious kitchen, lots of seating areas, the private screened in back porch, and the kids loved the nearby woods and general play area. Everything worked out really well and we were sad to leave. A relaxing place to chill out.

We were a group of ten staying at the property to celebrate a family milestone! The Milford House is well appointed, organized for larger groups and equipped with something for everyone; the foosball game and the pizza oven were a big hit!!

Great property close to everything
My family and I had a great stay at the farmhouse, enjoying the beautiful property. We swam in the pool, cooked pizzas in the wood fired oven and the kids loved the playground and basketball court. The house was comfortable and well appointed and close to anything you want to do in Prince Edward County.

An idyllic stay at the Old Milford House!
I cannot imagine a more wonderful setting for a weekend to reconnect with family from out-of-town. The Old Milford House was exactly as advertised and even better as the photos don’t show you how lovely the flow of the space is. This was important because it allowed for lots of interesting gathering spots at different times of the day, while also allowing people personal space as needed. The kitchen made meal preparation easy and we also found that the Old Milford House was very conveniently located to wineries, cider houses, breweries, bakeries, grocery stores and farm stands. Interacting with Monica in the lead up to our trip to PEC was seamless as was entering and closing up. A delight all around. Can’t wait to come back!

Full package County experience!
Amazing property with unique amenities perfectly suited to large groups looking for a great experience of County living. Wood-fired pizza oven is a gem! Truly incredible pizzas and a unique unforgettable experience to make them yourself. Pool is great for fun in the sun when you don’t quite have energy or time for a trip to a nearby beach. Location is wonderful as it truly is central- 15 minutes away from 100s of destinations (wineries, beaches, berries, cider, honey, cheese, shops, nature) Great location and could have stayed longer! Loved it!

Old Milford house- a gem!
Our group of 8 adults felt right at home here! Monica is an amazing host - quick responses to questions, helpful suggestions for things to do and see in the area, and just insanely organized! The house was gorgeous- just enough modern to have all the comfortable amenities with some great quirky « antiques » mixed in. The property is stunning, the pool was great for a refreshing dip, the pizza oven was a lot of fun to use and the sun porch was the perfect place for big group dinners protected from the bugs. It was perfectly situated to explore most of the island and only minutes from Picton. We loved our time here and were sad to leave.

Idyllic Country Stay
Spent the week with the family enjoying the property and traveling to sandbanks/wineries. The house is very spacious and we had plenty of room to spend time with the family. The pool is a lovely addition in hot summer months. Kids loved the basketball hoop and parents enjoyed making their own pizza. We would love to back. Big thanks to Monica for being a great host.

Country charm
I booked this property with my husband and adult children to enjoy! There was so much to do between basketball court, fire pit, pizza oven and just spaces for us to enjoy each other. The screened in porch was a highlight! Allowed us to be outside all the time. Proximity to wineries is excellent! Definitely a place to relax as much or as little as you want!

Old Milford House is just as described!
The house is beautiful and sits on a great piece of land. We enjoyed dinner outside on the screened in patio. Everything we needed was available. The house was spotless and great for a large group. Monica is a great host. We hope to get back there to enjoy more of the County and would definitely book Old Milford House again!

Amazing bachelorette stay in PEC!

A wonderful weekend!

Family say weekend get-away!
A wonderful stay. Old Milford house offered something for everyone and all ages. Lots of character and coziness for the adults. Lots of fun games and play space for the kids, including foosball table which was a HIT!! The property is beautiful and fun with a great fire pit, play structure for the kids and play pad for ball hockey, basketball in the summer. Monica is an excellent host. And the house has everything you need, with a fully stocked kitchen for any level of meal prep! Every thing was spotless on arrival with great attention to detail. We were two families of four, and were comfortable. Had space for all. And really enjoyed our time. I highly recommend Old Milford house as a unique, charming and inviting stay, with all the fun of PEC at your fingertips:)

Beautiful Escape
We really enjoyed our stay at the farm. The property had everything we needed, many great memories was made. Kids also enjoyed skating on the frozen pond! We hope to visit again in the future.

Perfect spot for a family getaway
We had a lovely family weekend at Old Milford, and greatly enjoyed everything inside and out. The age range of our group was from 2-76 and there was something for everyone. Comfy beds, great dining spots, a play structure and good puzzles for the toddlers, basketball challenges, a parlour for tea, a firepit for cocktails and a terrific pizza oven which tested our culinary abilities. We’ll be back!

Beautiful House
The house has so much room with everything you need. The outdoor patio and yard were very spacious. The host was always available, helpful and answered every question we had. All the extra stuff like the basketball net, foosball table and Wifi made the stay better. We had such a nice stay we will be returning.

This place had it all - the perfect getaway!
Wow! Beautiful property inside and out. It had the charm of a turn of the century home with modern amenities, making it the perfect place for a long weekend with friends or family. The outdoor wood-burning pizza oven was just spectacular and fun to use. Thanks to the amazing host, all of the instructions and tools were included to fire up the oven and make some incredible pizza. There is also an amazing basketball court in the yard and a perfect fire pit with lots of seating and plenty of wood ready to burn. We were a group of 12 and never felt short on seating or space both inside and out. The kitchen was huge and beautiful and had all the equipment needed to cook up wonderful meals, including a modern oven, large refrigerator and a dishwasher. The bedrooms were large and spacious and once another full bathroom is added, it will be even more perfect. Again, the host was wonderful, quick to respond and so accommodating. We can't wait to be back again... thank you so much, Monica for helping us make the perfect Thanksgiving with family!

PEC family reunion 2021
We chose Old Milford House for a family reunion, after 18 months of pandemic separation and it was the perfect choice! Lots of wonderful outdoor spaces to enjoy, on an immaculately kept property on a quiet county road. The house itself was lovely and beautifully and comfortably decorated. The cleanliness of the home is 5 star! There are many spots both inside and out to gather and the kitchen is large, wonderfully equipped and perfect for large groups. Monica was a fabulous host, from start to finish!! I highly recommend this lovely home!!

Beautiful farm house near Picton
This is a large farmhouse with modern amenities, about 5 km outside of Picton Ontario. There's lots of space, and a great yard with basketball, a play gym, etc. The screened in porch is great for outside dining. Highly recommended!

Great Place to Unwind in the County
We just returned from our stay at the Old Milford House outside of Picton. What a glorious bit of heaven. Close to everything but private and quiet. The home and the grounds were lovely + so we'll cared for. We will return for certain.

Relaxing getaway
Monica was a great host, she gave us lots of information about the area and the property- she was super quick with her responses! The Old Milford property was fantastic, the wood fired oven was the highlight of our weekend, we enjoyed it so much! We did a wine tour on Saturday and it was about 25 min from the house, not far at all! Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to get away and relax!

Wonderful location and amazingly beautiful property
The house is a lovely restoration in a great location. Only issue we had was that the second bathroom is extremely small / essentially unusable for a tall person. Otherwise the host was very helpful and this is a great place for a family.

Great vintage house nicely renovated
Loads of room to accommodate a large group. A beautiful quiet location, but a 15-20 minute drive to Sandbanks, wineries etc. The kitchen is huge and well appointed. The pizza oven collapsed a couple of weeks before we arrived. This was a disappointment, but the owner provided a gift basket to compensate, which was very much appreciated. We enjoyed the garden and patio as well. Great fire pit.

The pizza oven was reconstructed and is better than before! So much room you can easily fit 2-3 pizzas at a time! A huge improvement.

Wonderful week at Old Milford House
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. We loved everything about it. The house and wonderful garden had everything you could possibly need and more. It was so peaceful, apart from the sound of crickets and cicadas, yet central to everything. Picton is a lovely town, with great stores and restaurants and Sandbanks is only a short easy drive away, the day pass provided is very useful. Monica is an excellent host and provided so much useful information, we even avoided the big line ups to get in to Sandbanks by following her tips. Thank you for a fantastic stay, in a beautiful setting. We’ve made some great memories this week.

Peaceful place in Sandbanks
We really loved our stay there! It is an amazing property with lots of room and light. Includes a wonderful wood fire oven that is great for pizzas, a pristine pool, a very nice covered terrace that lets you enjoy the outdoors without the mosquitoes, a basketball area, a fire pit... and more! It is located about 5 minutes from Picton, and in close reach to the Sandbanks, plus to a lot of other activities such as wineries, walking/biking trails, antique stores, and so on. The owner is fantastic and really proactive. She answers rapidly to any question or concern. She also offers a lot of information before our arrival as well as when we are up there. Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit the County and Sandbanks parks. We couldn't have asked for a better place! Thank you Monica!
