Just What We Needed

Pros: We liked the clean room that smelled good too. We liked the friendly staff and the convenience of the location. The price was excellent.
Cons: The parking spaces were a bit tight.
Location: We went sight seeing to Cottonwood and Jerome and saw some Indian ruins over that way that were really cool.
The room was clean and the neighborhood included lots of restaurants and fast food places to eat. We did some sight seeing and hiking in the area and we enjoyed the movie theater (The Picture Show). The continental breakfast was a nice addition and we slept well.

Mid-week trip to the Prescott Valley

Pros: Clean, nice staff, refrig in room, good location to other attractions, reasonably priced
Location: We went to historic Jerome, Prescott, and the Verde Canyon RailRoad
We decided to take advantage of some time off to see Jerome, Prescott, Prescott Valley, and ride the Verde Canyon Railroad. This hotel was clean and comfortable, provided a refrig, micro, and mini coffee maker in the room, had a free Continental b-fast, and offered 20% off at Denny's just across the driveway (a perk we did not know about in advance). We needed to print our tickets for the VCRR and there was free computer service and 25cent/copy fee for printer use in the lobby. It was a nice place and we'd definitely stay there again. There was a bit of confusion when I booked - my receipt said 'Arizona Inn' but the sign out front said 'Inn Arizona' - I wasn't sure I had the right place. The hotel is owned by Days Inn, I guess (that's what the free WiFi sign-in said).

Not bad for the money

It isn't the Ritz but we expected that for the money. The hotel seems to be newer and the room was just fine.

Fabulous hotel for everyone

Pros: Quiet, plenty of hot water, clean, great WiFi, well-maintained, friendly staff, close to town/shopping/events
Cons: The bath tub was slippery.
Location: Close to sports/concert events, shopping, freeway, Historic Prescott (7 miles)
The hotel was surprisingly nice by comparison of the properties with rooms available in Prescott on New Year's Eve. The room was really clean and nicely decorated. The WiFi was great, and it was extremely quiet for such a boisterous holiday evening. The staff were both gracious and friendly.

Arizona Inn quite a disappointment

Pros: The price was an inducement.
Cons: Discovering that previous reviews didn't reflect the actual hotel condition.
Location: The location was reasonably good and not too far from major Prescott restaurants.
We were quite disappointed with the conditions in our room. The carpet was in need of replacement due to wear and some spots. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable and the bedding was quite outdated. The heating unit was extremely loud (cause unknown) and we had to shut the power off in the middle of the night since we couldn't sleep. This of course made the room colder. I also experienced throat discomfort, possibly the result of heating/A/C filters not having been changed for some time. In the morning, we found the breakfast room in serious need of refurbishing and very sparse food choices. We should have realized this since the clerk at check-in had advised that the Denny's across the street offered a discount to hotel guests. We chose this hotel based on price, but primarily as a result of reading past reviews which indicated an overall rating of 4.2. This hotel doesn't approach that rating in our opinion.

Pros: We had a good experience staying here. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast - more protein would be good. Appreciated the fresh fruit.
Location: We didn't have time to explore the area, but saw several places we would have like to visit. Plenty of places to eat and shop.
