Pool was closed but no big deal. No usb in the room for charging phone. My bad for forgetting my plug in brick but what hotels don’t have usb chargers these day? Elevator was glitchy going up and dropped a few inches a few times before finally going up. It felt like a carnival ride and I refused to take it again. I called the front desk about it but they didn’t seem concerned. Cable TV wasn’t working for my 2 night stay. Front desk said they were working on it. Last but not least they had a golf cart shuttle for bringing guests to local destinations like the golf course but front desk said it didn’t work because battery had died. I walked the mile or so. Biscuits and gravy were good by I Won’t stay here again.

Dear Gary, Sorry to hear your stay wasn't up to standard. All guest that checked into rooms with TV issues were told about it beforehand. Yes we do have a gold cart for shuttling guest but as everything states the hotel is under renovation. Again we are sorry the stay was not up to your expectations. It was a nice restful clean place, close to food etc. The staff were friendly and cleaners even greeted us. I would stay there again. My biggest complaint was the flimsy plastic forks and knives which bent when I used them. Also, The color decor was dated and dark but maintained. I almost skipped it because your photos made it dark and dated.

Nice staff. Great location. A little rundown but being renovated. Here's the problem...a guest shouldn't have to beg for their room to be serviced by housekeeping. If I wanted to go get my own towels, I'd stay with family. If I wanted to make my own bed, I'd stay home. It's a hotel. The basic expectation should be daily housekeeping. Stop trying to use covid to avoid this. You may as well claim it is the 1918 Spanish Flu. If you are going to be in the hospitality business, show some hospitality. Update: well, finishing our stay after 4 days. No success in getting housekeeping to show up. There's a ring around the toilet - which seems to indicate it wasn't cleaned well before we showed up. We've just had to go to the desk to get towels every day. Tonight they only had hand towels, no large ones. Oh...and none of the signature cinnamon rolls. There were cinnamon rolls of some kind on 3 of the days but they weren't the real ones and the breakfast is crap overall. Seriously just stay away.
