Came for a work and sightseeing trip. What a gem of a place. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Artem at the front desk. He gave great recommendations and lots of helpful information. The housekeeping staff kept our hotel room clean and came every day. Very comfortable bed and large room which we appreciated for a 6 night stay. The breakfast was fantastic with so many choices. The location was absolutely perfect and so close to everything. We were a short walk to the Old Town square and many restaurants, shops, and anything you could want. Would absolutely recommend this hotel and if we return to Prague again, we would definitely stay there.

We enjoyed our one night stay here. The hotel room was very spacious and clean. There was a good selection for breakfast. The location is so convenient in old town. The front desk staff were so nice and helpful. My luggage was delayed from my flight into Prague and the ladies at the front were very helpful in trying to help me navigate this situation. Highly recommend!

This was a women's trip and we booked the suite with the terrace which was perfect for us. It also had a kitchen that we did not expect. The breakfast was fabulous!

Our family of 4 loved this property and the staff. The hotel is a little old school, in a matter of speaking. You have to leave your key (it's an actual key, not a card) at the reception. The breakfast is okay, nothing great -- it fills you up until your next meal. The hotel is in a very central location, not even a 5 minute walk to Old Town Square. There is a mini-mart next door, as well as a lot of restaurants. The staff is awesome! After a day or two in the hotel, they already know what key to give you. It has a very homey feel to it. They helped us look for a laundry facility, even called them to make sure they were able to take our load. There is a lady in the front office, with short hair. She is so nice to my 6 year old. Everytime my 6yo would give her the key, she would give my son Easter egg chocolates, which made my son excited to see her everytime. Vladimir (the night shift person) is always ready to greet you with a smile, no matter what time in the night we arrive. Also, the staff is really honest. My son left his Switch device. When we realized we didn't have it (at that point, we were at the airport), we emailed them about it. Within 10 minutes, we received an email that they found it and that they were going to send it to us in the US. They don't make hotels like this anymore! It really is home away from home. Thank you to all the staff!!!

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Prague and is a 5 minute walk from Old Town Square. It is very clean, great breakfast, room is very large and staff are friendly.

We stayed here for a week and we were extremely happy with our stay at Hotel Leon D’oro. The location was amazing and had tons of things to do close by. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and had so many options to choose from. The bed was extremely comfortable and our room was huge! The staff was also incredible and so kind. Would 10/10 recommend!

Disappointing
Shower went from normal temp to scalding hot, burning you. Elevator was broken. Room was outdated and not very nicely decorated. Spacious though. Front desk staff was wearing dirty suit with stains and lint.

I booked this hotel because of the great reviews. We were not disappointed and we would stay here again! The rooms were comfortable and the location is perfect if you're visiting Old Town Prague. We walked to the train station several times and it's only a 12min walk. The hotel breakfast was tasty and very well put together. The staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful They even booked our return transportation to the airport for 6 adults with 8 suitcases! You won't be disappointed!

Our hotel room was large and had a separate living area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The hotel is perfectly situated between Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square and everything is walkable. One note, must walk several minute to access the closest public transportation.

Great location but room had impracticalities
Location was excellent and our room on the 6th floor had an amazing roof terrace with a fabulous view. The room itself was ok but not very practical with the raised bed area (which we realised was on top of a noisy lift shaft). And the shower was difficult to navigate as was under a sloping roof (was also very slippery). Half way through our stay, the lift broke (on the Sunday), and was still broken when we left on Tuesday evening! Not great for 6 double flights of stairs - although better for the noise levels in the room. It did put a bit of a dampener on things though.

Great hotel. The lift didn’t work for 24 hours and we had to carry bags from the 4th floor. Other than that, superb breakfast, lovely staff, big rooms and great location. Would highly recommend.

This hotel is a gem. It is few minutes away from the tourist spots in Prague. Shops and restaurants are just around the corner. The room is so spacious. We stayed for 3 nights and we were so comfortable in the room. Breakfast was also lovely and the staff were so helpful. I will book here again if we are going to Prague next time. Highly recommended!!!

This hotel has a phenomenal location and the rooms are huge. We had a suite with a terrace overlooking Old Town Square, which was spectacular. The rooms were very warm (it was November). Everything was very clean. Breakfast was great, very fresh and a great selection. Overall I would absolutely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Very convenient for centre but also ina quiet location close to Old Town Square. Breakfast good with decent choice. Only issue was shower would go hot or cold randomly at times.

Had a great stay at Hotel Leon D'Oro. We booked a family room/studio suite, which was perfect for a family of four - it had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a lovely terrace with an incredible view. Great location, walkable to everything, easy and staff underground parking for a fee. Great breakfast! Would definitely stay there again.

The kids and I enjoyed our stay very much. It was our first trip to Prague and we will definitely return. Hotel Leon D’Oro made it memorable- from the very first correspondence to the day of check out. The location was unbeatable, the two terrace suite was amazing, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, filling and slightly different each day. We will return! Thank you! 😂

Best Location Ever!!
Hotel D’Oro is in The Best location!! A few minutes walk around the corner & you’re in Old Town Square (which will literally take your breath away). Our room was good ~ had to reserve a ‘triple’ to ensure separate beds for my sister & me (a request for 2 twins could not be guaranteed) but it worked out cuz the room was very large (a King & a Queen bed). The daily breakfast is pretty darned great! Not American style so just know that. Incl scrambled eggs, sm & lrg local sausage, meats & cheeses, breads, fruits, tomatoes, olives, bruschetta… you get it. Coffee, teas, hot choc. plus juices also. Will recommend Hotel D’Oro to you all. :-)
