It’s hard to pick a worst part of this stay, thankfully we only stayed one night but we would never go again. The door is 2 inches above the ground so any noise in the hallway of even a whisper can be heard through it, and there is a door to the outside on the back as well (we were downstairs). It was nice to be able to park directly behind our back door, but the back door didn’t seal fully and shone light through the crack even when fully closed. Luckily that was tight to the ground so bugs couldn’t crawl in atleast, but that didn’t keep there from being some little beetles in the corner under the heating unit. The tv was very small and not even with the bed, and the chairs were difficult to sit in. The shower head barely dripped water out of the 8 holes that weren’t fully calcified over. The room came with a nice sized safe but the number code was never reset from the last person who used it so we couldn’t get in. The sheets were clean, but the pillows were very scratchy and uncomfortable. Now this is where the review would have ended if it weren’t for us working out on the floor of our room (since the hotel doesn’t have a gym)…. The KING size bed we paid for has 2 twin bed mattress spring boxes under it, that explains why the middle of the bed was so hard and uncomfortable, and that’s not even the worst part - there were left over remains of some sort of potato and mustard and something green mushed into the carpet up against the spring box… washed our hands a lot today…

Needs upgrades as far as the mattress & TV. Basic breakfast & no elevator. Conveniently located & the seafood place across the street is really good with a great view of the lake.

The property is pretty old and the beds squeak under you. We thought that cleaning was ok until we found a shirt from the previous occupant on the floor by the bed. It was not hidden and could have easily been noticed if someone had actually vacuumed the floor. The walls are pretty thin, and I could hear conversations and additional squeaking from the other rooms. The breakfast offered had many options and they checked it frequently.

I love this property. Location is the best. I stayed there on my way to Wisconsin and also on the way back to Pennsylvania. Nothing fancy but clean and welcoming. Staff is very friendly. Certainly would stay there again.

Clean and well maintained. Some of the best motel coffee I’ve had. Only reason that I didn’t give it 5 stars was that the compressor in the refrigerator was very loud and freezer didn’t refreeze my travel ice packs. Stayed in off season so pretty quiet.
