A total rip-off
AVOID AT ALL COST! We were very excited by the view that this motel was showing on its website photos. Unfortunately even the view could not make us forget the state of the room… I’ve travelled a lot in my life but it was the first time I was so disgusted by a room. I don’t even understand how people can rate this hotel 10/10. For me it’s a big 0. The wall paint and the blind are falling apart, the mattresses are really not comfortable (very old), the bath was rusted, the bathroom fan sounded like an airplane engine and the room is very small. It looked like a sketchy room you see in horror movies. Also, the office closes at 8pm… you need to call to let them know when you are going to check in. When I called I talked to a lady that wasn’t that nice over the phone. The wifi was terrible too. I mean, at this point, I think the best thing would be to take it down and rebuild another motel… it was not worth130$.

What an incredible place. The rooms are standard but clean. The real star is the show here are your hosts and the restaurant. Amazing food, wonderful service. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

It is a very basic room, but the view is gorgeous, it is clean and quiet, and the owners are super nice. The food at the restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to stay again!

Was looking for a clean bed - got that, but this property needs a lot of work! We arrived fairly late so the door was left unlocked for us (thank you), however, the deadbolt is broke, steps are slanted, floor is slanted too which meant one of the beds was sloped, and the blind on the back door was broken too - we hung a towel on it for privacy. The bathroom definitely needs an upgrade! Probably should have said something when we left but didn't!

While it did have a beautiful view, it was in the middle of nowhere and a 30 minute drive from the ferry. The room was terrible, mold in the bathroom, the windows were wide open on arrival (mid October) and it was freezing in there. There was no shampoo or a hair dryer. The blind on the back door was broken and fell on the floor. The deck had a beautiful view but the boards were rotten and unsafe. The food in the restaurant was mediocre at best and the prices did not match the menu that was online. This property needs an influx of cash to upgrade it. I manage tourism accommodations in another province and would never offer this up for rent.

The property is in a lovely location with beautiful views of the bay. The room however is very basic with absolutely none of the items usually found in a room. This includes coffee maker, tissues, instructions on how to use the TV etc. There is really no furniture other than the beds and two chairs unless you count the folding chairs and table? We did visit in Oct. and perhaps the motel was getting ready to shut down. We felt that the rate should have been lower given the bare basics provided.

We absolutely love the Baybreeze. We have been coming every year since 2018 and it's a family favorite. The owners are wonderful and treat us like family while we are there. The food at their restaurant is always excellent. The view is absolutely stunning. If you are looking for a simple, clean, friendly motel this is the place!

The rooms are bad condition , no fridge very poor amenities , not what was described in Expedia. You pay for the view but the rooms are terrible. So disappointed for the price that I paid 398,- cad .for 2 nights . Access to a swimming pool and own beach but there is no way to go down there ..

Rooms need a good reno. Comfy for a one night stay. View of the bay from room deck was amazing. Food from restaurant was good. Never had such an easy check-in. Owners really make you feel welcome and trust their guests. I would go back again.

After a 13 hour day of travelling, we decided to try and find somewhere to rest for the night at 9pm I booked online while driving, we pulled up went inside to get the key to the room and the owner, the kindest gentleman offered to keep his diner open and cooked us up a fresh dinner. Honestly the best meal we have had on our travels thus far.

Place was clean and the price was right. Restaurant was great. Beautiful view directly onto the ocean. Room was simple and comfortable - rear door access to a rear deck and view to ocean. Did not come with microwave nor coffee machine. Guess because there is a restaurant, which was reasonably priced.

This motel is modest, quiet, well equiped in room with excellent linens; the excellent part of our stay was eating in the small restaurant run by the Greek owners. Food is exceptional. Fresh fish and lobster; chowders were delicious. Sitting ,looking at the Bay of Fundy even in the fog is always a restful experience.

Liked: comfortable beds, room was as clean as could be expected, nice view of the water from back deck of room Disliked: when we checked in the man, who I assume is the owner, was unwelcoming-just handed me the key & said “#5” no greeting, nothing. The bathroom was pretty gross, not dirty but old nasty cracked flooring, fixtures that should have been updated 20 years ago, no outlet in bathroom etc. The only cups provided were 2 styrofoam coffee cups. We asked the grumpy man at the restaurant (the only unfriendly person we met in Canada!) if we could have something to drink a glass of wine (even plastic cups would do) but he just gave us 2 more styrofoam cups & said it was the best he could do. The room was just adequate as a place to sleep. Overpriced for the dumpy condition of the bathroom and the feeling that we were a burden rather than welcome guests.

We absolutely love it here! We come at least once a year. The owners always remember us personally and go out of their way to make us feel welcome. They are wonderful with our kids and even when they are not with us, make a point to ask us how they are doing. Simple, clean rooms and an outstanding restaurant, all overlooking a world-class view. A true gem of NB!
