Rooms are outdated. Beds and pillows were super uncomfortable and hard as rocks. Food at the buffet and restaurants were not good so although we paid for the all-inclusive, we ate out most meals. Staff is not very friendly and are super slow and ignore you, especially when you tell them you aren't interested in their time share sales pitch. We refused to waste hours of our vacation listening to them so they weren't very friendly after that. The mini fridge in the room was on the closet floor and it was too big for the space so we couldnt open the fridge door unless we literally took the fridge out of the closet, which is absurd! The bathroom sink and toilet had a constant sewage smell of rotten eggs which was awful! The entire place needs updating. The entertainment is pretty terrible and almost non-existent. The poolside host, Boris, always had a grumpy face and acted like he owned the place. He was only talkative to people who had the timeshare band on their wrist. Not worth upgrading to the premium package because the bartenders dont give you top shelf unless you ask for it, which shouldnt have to happen and unless you tip them well they dont serve you quickly or pour a good drink. Do not stay in the rooms above the lobby because they are super noisy! You have all the drunks at the bar yelling andyou hear all the staff yelling at visitors about time shares to try to get their attention so stay away from rooms like 2830, 2831.

All inclusive buffet had a wide variety of food, but was low quality. The buffet no indicators of allergies and had a high probability of cross contamination. The staff always asked about allergies, but did nothing about it. Ended up having a severe allergic reaction thanks to this. The included restaurants were even worse quality (don't go to these).

Small but it wasn’t overcrowded and they had shows on the pool deck a few nights we stayed there. Nice place to get away. One complaint we had was if you pay for the premium all inclusive package, they only fill your mini fridge on the first night and it’s only sodas. You might get lucky with a beer or 2 but ultimately you probably won’t get any.

To get around the hotel is so confusing. The three days I stayed there I got lost everytime. It was so frustrating. There is also no where in sight that you can buy a water bottle. I had to walk all the way to 7/11 to buy a water. Also the showers smell like sewer when you turn on the water. Highly not recommended!!!!

Good location. The property was right on the beach. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean. There are lots of entertainment for guests. The property was within walking distance to a safe shopping district (5th Avenue). We were very happy with the front desk staff, bar staff, restaurant staff, and house keeping staff. Everyone was great. The staff works really hard to keep the property clean. The swimming pool was very clean. The water in the swimming pool was perfect; it wasn't too hot or too cold. The swimming pool was not over chlorinated. We were disappointed with the food quality in their buffet, Mexican, Italian and Japanese restaurants. We found the food at the local eateries were affordable and much more tastier. The pluming in our washroom was also another disappointment. It could use some attention; the pluming in our washroom sink and shower drain always had a sulfur smell. If these two issues were addressed, I would come back every year.

We just spent a week at the reef coco beach and had a wonderful time. Beautiful area and lovely staff!!! Borise, Aldo, Alan, Francisco, and many many more helped make our trip memorable and enjoyable :) The atmosphere of the smaller resort made the trip feel special. It’s a small beach but it’s very pretty and awesome pool. We had wonderful service from the man at the pool bar whose name I can’t remember. Decent food. Fun stuff happening every single day!

Do not come to this resort, we had so many problems here and hardly any fixed. The food is dry and cold, the door to our room didn’t lock, the key pad died so we couldn’t get into our room, some of the bartenders and staff are very rude, our bed frame was snapped and the legs were on the floor, when I went to unplug my straightener the entire outlet ripped out, our tv was shattered in one area, the toilet seat doesn’t stay up, we went down for dinner early to be the first ones there and the food was already cold, there are very limited options for food and half of it looks and is disgusting, you have to go up and ask the waiters for water during meals, do not stay here!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. We enjoyed the pool area and the beach. The staff were great and it was easy to get dinner reservations. If you were early enough you could get seats in the cabanas which provided shade during the hottest part of the day. We would love to return!

The property itself is very beautiful. Before getting to the resort you pass by some areas that do seem a bit sketchy in my opinion. After you arrive it is beautiful resort. its not something over the top, very simple but nice. We arrived via Uber. Once arrived the gate person didn't want to let the Uber in because supposedly they are not allowed in the property. we told him we had reservations and he proceeded to let us in. Check in was super smooth and easy. they give you welcome mimosas when you arrive. Our rooms weren't ready so we went to the buffet until the rooms were prepared for us. The food was definitely my least favor part of this resort. From a 1 to 10, id give the food a 1. The buffet didn't really have much variety. The 2 restaurants on site were ok, you need to have reservations to eat there. I'd give those a 4 star out of 10. Although we waited over 30 mins for the waiters to come take our orders at the table. The drinks I wasn't a fan of either. all the drinks are super sweet. The beer was ok but could be colder. the activities at the pool are super cool and the pool was super clean which is a plus for me. The waiters and bartenders were super nice and would even take our drinks to the pool (we did give them tips). We took one day to walk La Quinta Avenida and I loved it!! i felt super safe, lots of cops roaming the area. Although, everything there is way over priced. My only complaints is the food and drinks. other than that, it was nice

It’s an all inclusive resort but with the option to go out and experience the culture within a 5 minute walk. Very friendly staff and resort was not large but had everything we needed and more.

This was my first time at the resort. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Victor at the entrance was always cheerful and helpful. He gave good advice to us when we needed help around the town. It saved us a lot of looking for sure! Brenda at the jewelry shop was extremely helpful as well! She went out of her way to make sure I was able to find the exact necklace for our daughter. There was not a bartender that wasn’t working as fast as three in my area could by himself! Always happy and some of them remembered what my husband and I drank from the second we arrived! The hostess at the buffet was very friendly however I forgot her name. The housekeepers were quick and efficient. The special restaurants were all excellent! I’d only have one or two suggestions, they need an actual swim up Bartendar for the day shift and into early evening. It was quite difficult for them to run from the top level to the swim up bar so there was a lot of yelling to get there very busy attention. The other they need an evening bar for people to dance and listen to music. Also the front desk were always quick and knowledgeable. Thank you all! You all work every hard!

Great for families, the kids loved it. Everything was clean, the staff were friendly. Only comment is the snack bar food was very disappointing, the nacho made with liquide cheese, the hot dog were barely cooked, the burger meat thin and the buns not cooks nor toasted. Just having a real grill ( BBQ) would make the food taste better.
