For the price, this place is amazing. I’m used to staying in large resorts in Mexico, so this is far from that, but the price is amazing for the value. Rooms are as pictured. As other reviews have said, there is no ac in the hallways. I thought it would be no big deal, but it was pretty miserable mid-day in late May. If they could put money into one thing, it’d be that. Staff was great. Jorge, the bellman, was super sweet. The pool was the highlight. It’s very well done and makes good use of the space. There are restaurants and markets everywhere. No need for a taxi. The location is residential and safe feeling.

Staff was super friendly and nice. And very helpful. The negative about this property is that you can literally hear every sound in the building. Every little noise. And the hallway is like a furnace. Almost as if they have the heater on. Not only that, but the beds and pillows are terrible. Almost like sleeping on the floor. We checked out early on our reservation.

When we arrived, we experienced an unpleasant treatment. We arrived earlier than the check-in time. We were told to wait for the receptionist. The male receptionist who arrived was rude and sarcastic.We only asked him few questions and verified some information in a polite manner. That was very unexpected, no proper customer service at all. That's the only thing we didn't like, the hotel was fine.

Staff was friendly and helpful but if you depend on reliable and dependable internet servvice this is not the place for you. Management knows about the bad internet serviice yet they did nothing to recttify the issue..

For the price, can’t be beat. Room was better than expected, but water pressure in shower was very poor. Bed was comfortable, AC was fantastic, with a small kitchenette and full sized fridge! and staff (including Jorge) was helpful and friendly. Outside hallways were very hot, but rooms were as chilly as you’d like. Good restaurants right across the street or minutes in any other direction.

Rooms look like the pictures. Nice distance from 5th Ave - short walk to get there but far enough from the noise. Nice rooftop pool with daybeds and cushioned loungers but no bar or restaurant. My only issue was the thin walls but I plan to stay here again because the value for the price is so good!

This hotel is an easy 10 min walk to Quinta Avenida where all the action is. However, if you have a vehicle, be aware that there is no on site parking and the street parking is pay parking with coins only. From 10am to 10pm. 10 pesos per hour. I ran out of coins with only a few hours left before leaving to head to the airport and I came out to the surprise of a boot being placed on my car. So that was a 600 peso hiccup. There is also new building construction across the street that is quite noisy from around 8am-8pm. On the bright side, the mattress was the most comfortable of all the places I stayed in Playa and Tulum this trip.

Pros: 1) VERY friendly staff 2) Cleaning staff were AMAZING 3) Convenient location 4) Budget friendly 5) Rooftop pool (Very nice pool, only con is it had a LITTLE bit of algae) Cons: 1) NOISE, everything echoes in the building, drunk people arriving at 2-4AM in the LOBBY will wake you up even on the 5th floor. The noise just gets louder as they make their way to their rooms, then you can hear them vomiting from their habitation one floor away. (After the second night of this I had to complain to staff as they didn't seem to do anything about it). | Random construction work during the day (inside the building) several days in a row echoes through the building also so was unable to relax. 2) ANTS, be very careful and do not leave any food on the counters. My partner and I had a snack while watching a movie, about an hour later I went to get water and there was a swarm of ants covering the counter/plate. Another time we were laying in bed and I found a couple ants crawling on my chest. 3) Plumbing issues in building, our toilet wouldn't flush one day. Another day I went to check on my mother in law because I heard banging, there was a 2x2 foot section of wall cut out from outside her room and a worker was in her bathroom fixing an issue with the plumbing.

Muy mala atencion de todo el personal. Se metieron a robar a la habitación,(llevandose pertenecias de valor , hasta articulos personales comon ropa)habitación a un lado del lobby, ya tienen varios reportes de este tipo ante la fiscalia del estado y no hacen nada. No te avisan de la situacion. No me quisieron responder por nada, nadie quiere dar la cara, el personal muy grosero. Me llevo una decepción de la situación, el personal del edificio asi como la supuesta administración, no te ayudan y apoyan en lo absoluto. Asi como Expedia no me hace respaldo de nada.

Nicely located. Note that it only has paid street parking. I saw a guest get a ticket and boot on his car, so be sure to feed the meter! The pool is awesome. The day staff is friendly and helpful. The night staff is…not. Best thing about it is the rooftop pool.

Property's electrical system is faulty, leading to a total-building power outage during our stay. Laundry facilities were advertised, however staff said use was only for the owners of the condos. When we showed them the Expedia profile stating laundry facility use was included, they charged us an extra 100 pesos only for us to discover all their laundry machines were broken with water flooding the downstairs (prior to the power outage). Entire building is extremely hot as well (much hotter than the 88 degree weather outside), which made using the stairs during the power outage annoying. While some aspects of this condo building are beautiful (such as the gorgeous rooftop pool), the high Expedia rating and amenities listed are misleading.

We only stayed here two nights but first of all the entire building is hotttt like sauna hot while you wait for elevator you feel like the heater is on and then they gave us the room and the key didn’t work so bad to go down and get it changed, while my toddler waited in the sauna…. And then we got into room took a nap and while Napping heard someone walk into the room and notice we were in there and left…. I asked front desk and they said they accidentally gave that person the same room as us!!!!! And when we went back up again the key didn’t work again so had to go back down again…. And the worker was very rude and said “you’ll just have to give your complaints to whoever you booked through!!” Very disappointed but the room it self I guess was clean and well equipped.

The location was near many conveniences whether it be restaurants ,grocery stores or discount stores. Staff were very accommodating and happy to answer any questions. Rooms were well equipped and clean! We will definately be back ! .
