Terrible Accommodations

Posted 19-Jul-2015
Our room was shabby, small, filthy and musty smelling, the sheet didn't fit on the bed, the air conditioner was so loud it kept us from sleeping, the tub didn't drain properly, and the toilet needed to be flushed twice with each use.

Nice hotel for a night

Posted 19-Jul-2015
We stayed as a stop over for one night. The hotel was convenient to our route. The room was a little hot when we first went in. The AC had some issue where it would either work on full blast or it didn't work much at all. So our room was freezing but the blankets were warm and I slept like a rock all night. Over all it was a comfortable stay for a night. The breakfast was good also.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

Posted 16-Jul-2015
Pros: Breakfast was ok.
Cons: More light, more electric outlets, better Wi-Fi.
Location: This place was close to where my grandkids lived.
Furnishings are worn out. Not enough light in the room, just 3 table lamps. ONLY 1 ELECTRIC OUTLET! Come on LaQuinta, where to plug in my laptop? where to charge my cell? WHERE WAS MY HUSBAND TO PLUG IN HIS C-PAP MACHINE?? The only full outlet was across the room! You had 5 items plugged into one 6-way outlet. We now pack a 20ft cord and power strip. The bed was wore out, the bedding too short, why do you use cotton, you can't move in the bed. The room was clean enough, the bathroom ok, the coffee maker too small, the air condx was either freezing cold or warm. Oh I almost forgot, ladies be sure to protect your delicate areas, the water pressure could power wash the side of my house! The free breakfast was fair. eggs, sausage, toast, etc. you can have yourself a nice hot breakfast and the staff there was very friendly. And the Wi-Fi, it must have been wireless dial-up, it took numerous times to log in and then was soooooo slow I couldn't even check email. I can't comment on any of the other offerings, didn't see or use them. Who invented key cards? hate when you have to get them reprogrammed! This stay was so disappointing and so not worth the money!

Hard to find the road to get in

Posted 14-Jul-2015
It was hard to find the access road up to the hotel. The city won't allow them to put a sign up at the road. Turn at the McDonalds or Chipolies and the road is behind them. Wonderful staff great breakfast could use a little sprucing up but all in all a decent place to stay.

The staff were very friendly and explained everything about the hotel. The rooms were very clean.I loved this hotel.I will go back there again. When we checked in it was explained to me ifthere was anything that we needed to let them know.I called the front desk about a matter and they didn't wait two or three hours they were in our room within fifteen minutes. The rooms always smelled fresh and cleaned daily.

hotel was convenient to family and the City of Pgh

Posted 7-Jul-2015
Pros: It was very convenient to our family and to the City of Pittsburgh for a convention I was attending.
Cons: no pets or at least advise of pet policy.
Location: plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.
The hotel was comfortable & clean. We didn't care for fact that pets were allowed. Barking dogs were somewhat bothersome. I advised clerk at front desk that we would be leaving one day early. It appears that this wasn't handled correctly as our keys failed to work a few days prior to our departure.

Price & location...

Posted 6-Jul-2015
Pros: Location & priced fairly
This is a no-frills, nothing fancy, well-priced, good-place-to-rest-your head hotel. It is clean & basic. It's a great location for anything in the North Hills general area.
