Great Property!
Fully stocked kitchen! Ice machine was great for boating daily. So convenient to have the neighborhood boat ramp. Property Manager Kerri was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of pillows.

So peaceful!
Me and my little family had the best time and loved staying in the house. We didn’t want to leave! It was such a quiet and peaceful area! My son especially enjoyed being able to fish off of the private dock. We will definitely be back!

Great vacation
The house was clean and had everything we needed. The ice machine and aluminum car port to park the boat under was great! We caught a ton of scallops and can't wait to come back next year.

Coastal Family Fun
Perfect, Quiet location for the family to reconnect. Great views and coastal breezes enjoyed on the deck for our dinners. Most certainly would stay again!

Hidden gem!
I almost don’t want to leave a review because I’de love to keep this place a secret for our friends and family. If you are looking for quiet in a great gulf fishing location and a clean comfortable home with excellent property management, look no further. We are Floridians who were looking for a quiet getaway which is hard to find in our state anymore. This place was just what we needed. Great views, quiet neighborhood, pristinely clean home with all the comforts. Amazing deck! Excellent management. We will be back many more times. (Nowhere Grille is a great local place to eat.)

Beach Getaway
This was our second year booking this house. We fell in love with the accommodations quickly. The house is clean and the property manger is awesome and easy to make contact with. The house has 3 separate decks,allowing privacy for all occupants. The entire lower level deck is split with one side having a screened in tiki area. The living space is open floor plan and spacious, while the bedrooms each have their on TV. The master suite includes a private balcony, from the spacious room with an en-suite bathroom. It’s an ideal rental for multi-family or a vacation like mine with 4 teenagers. The area is charming and everyone is friendly. The girls were able to get oily and walk and explore. Many people ride bikes and golf carts in the community, so if you have those I’d bring them.

Seamless experience
We rented the beach house for my birthday. Loved the house and it’s spacious floor plan. Enjoyed all the deck levels. My favorite part was the private boat ramp to the gulf. We will be back.

Million dollar ocean views and everything you need provided for
This house is the most beautiful house in Keaton Beach. Million dollar views and everything you could possibly need provided for. This is the only place we will rent again in Keaton Beach. Please say thank you to the owner for sharing this wonderful home. We will be back as often as we can.

Love the Porches
The Wheelhouse property is a great place to get away from it all and enjoy the gulf breezes. The home was very clean, super roomy, and lived up to its description. There are porches at every turn so you can enjoy the outside. The neighborhood is quiet and the beds are comfortable, so no problems with sleeping! The kitchen had all the basic things needed for preparing a meal and everything worked the way it should. We would definitely stay here again and in fact are planning a return trip for next spring.

Great Property
We had a great time in Keaton Beach! The house was wonderful and the beautiful picturesque views can't be beat. House was clean and fully stocked. There were games that the kids LOVED! The outside Mezzanine level was awesome. There was corn hole and the Tiki Bar was sooo cool! Everyone had a great time! Kerri, our guest contact, was super responsive. Would definitely book again!

Great for fishing, relaxing - not for beach scene
We enjoyed our stay at the house tremendously- beautiful home, plenty of space for the 7 of us, quiet and private neighborhood with a great view. If you like to fish, it's the perfect spot. The guys enjoyed being able to fish right off the private dock behind the house. This is not a place you would want if you prefer the BEACH scene...there is no beach area on the property, but there is a very small local "beach" a short drive away. The pictures do not do the remodel justice!
After the simple booking process, I reached out to the property manager. She was extremely polite and informative. This property just underwent a 3 month renovation and it is absolutely beautiful 😍 We have rented several different properties in the area and this property exceeded them all. The entire 2nd floor is a great hang out for the children to play corn hole or in our case, sing karaoke! Fresh paint, new appliances, new furniture and additional lighting and TVs were only a few of the upgrades this property had during its remodel. It is very clean and from the youngest (4) to the oldest (53), we all throughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures listed are before the remodel. You should see it now!

Not within walking distance of a beach or decent swimming area
I'm giving my experience a 3 stars. From looking at photos of the property; it looked as if there was a place or beach to go swimming within walking distance. The beach is almost 3 miles away. There's actually no place to get in and swim near this property that I feel was safe to swim in or have access to swim in. The master bedroom can only be accessed by walking through another bedroom. That caused privacy issues for the party staying in that smaller bedroom. Most of the outdoor furniture was full of dust and needed to be wiped down before sitting on it. Nothing was wiped down before we arrived except indoors. Indoors was clean although we did encounter a few roaches on the counters. I'm from Florida; I get it. No tv's in any other room other than the Livingroom. That was a downside in case people bring children. There was no outdoor lighting on the bottom patio area where we mostly hung out. Only security lighting that we had to keep jumping up and waving our hands to get the lights to stay on. The bulbs were blown in atleast one of those. The trash had to be hauled away and it was closed on Memorial Day. Besides; the locals told us you have to pay to dump the trash. We had to haul all the trash to a near by store dumpster which I'm sure was illegal. I usually say I'm going back to places I enjoyed visiting but I don't think we'll visit again. Not because of the house but because of the location. The house was decorated really nice. Great beach theme. The best entertainment we had were the locals. They were very nice and helpful. Thankful for them.

We include a map on our listing so guests can see the approximate location of the home prior to booking, but we apologize that this caught you off guard. The captions on the pictures of the beach included in the listing indicate they are of Keaton Beach, which the listing also states is 5 miles away. While the property is not directly on the beach, canoes and kayaks can be launched off the dock to explore the serene natural beauty of the area's waterways. We followed up with the owner and they wanted to comment on your other concerns. “We’re working on a solution for trash collection, and are talking with our cleaning crew to come up with something that will help guests get back on the road after check out.” Thanks for telling us about your stay!

Great Place to Stay at Dekle
Very nice facilities. Kitchen is extensively supplied compared to other units I have rented. Convenient to private boat ramp. Loved the bar on the second floor. It was a nice place to relax and hang out after fishing all day.
