This is a beautiful little hotel! Lovely room with a balcony! Super cold A/C and the breakfast is delicious and inexpensive! We love it here! The staff is very kind and helpful!

The property is well maintained, very clean, everything is within walking distance (the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. ). The staff is generally good, especially the cleaning staff. The only unpleasant experience I had was the front desk staff. Every time I asked a question the front desk man came across annoyed and impatient that I asked these questions (in Spanish) and was taking too much of his time.

Great hotel experience
What a wonderful place to stay! The location was awe inspiring and backed up right to the castle walls. The service was wonderful as well and they provided a delicious breakfast! We will be returning!

Excellent location very close to castle and beach and shopping. Room was very comfortable, staff were so helpful. Breakfast at the restaurant was fabulous and inexpensive.

A very interesting location. Unfortunately you have to find public parking on the street, with no possibility to park or drive to the hotel. The music and noise from surrounding area can be heard within the room non stop until 4 a.m., with no break, making it difficult to sleep at all until 4 a.m. Perhaps this is why it is advertised as adults only. Nice and friendly staff.

Great experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. One word of caution. We showed up late on a Friday, so we had to plow through crowds of people to get the car to the hotel. That's never a lot of fun. But the staff and hotel are very nice, and it's right next to the castle. Beautiful!

The reception is not at the property it is in the restaurant in the next street and the signage showing that could have been clearer perhaps a diagram rather than just the address it was a little confusing otherwise the accommodation was great.

Would definitely come again
Nice place but rather rooms over a restaurant than a hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Very close to everything. Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Nice breakfast for €5 - continental Parking is a problem especially if in high season.

Nice small hotel
Just renovated family hotel (a kind of "hostal"). Rooms are very small but perfectly clean and modern. Breakfast is excellent for only 5 euros. Owners are very nice and helpful.

Excellent 2 days.
Wonderful location managed to park right outside and hotel staff kindly advised the most economical way to feed the meter for our stay. Only cost €12 for 2 days stay. Hotel is right under the castle walls and surrounded by bars and restaurants. Our room was very comfortable, AC very efficient and bed very comfortable. Staff all very helpful, can highly recommend this hotel. May be a little noisy if in a front bedroom with balcony.

This is a family run hotel that we really couldn’t fault.The family who run it are very friendly and helpful.The hotel was spotless and very quiet.The situation for exploring the old town and the castle couldn’t be better. We will certainly stay again.

Staff were charming and helpful. Room was clean, light and simply decorated. Air conditioning very efficient. Bed linen spotless. Lovely comfortable bed. Only €5 for a very adequate breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Barra Alta was an excelent option to stay a couple of days in Peñíscola. Is centric, clean, comfortable, with a good breakfast and the staff was very nice and kind. Also, for my surprise, the food at the restaurant was very delicious. Recomdendable 100%.

A lovely place in the center square.
Amazing hotel on the main square and just next to the castle. The restaurant was excellent and reasonable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was large with a lovely balcony with a view of the castle. It was quiet at night with the glass doors closed so we had no trouble sleeping We would definitely stay there again.

This is a very nice hotel we are definitely pleasantly surprised. It’s very clean and spacious. The air conditioning in the room is the better than the 2 other hotels that we have stayed in Barcelona. It’s close to restaurants and the beach. We’ll definitely stay here again if we come back.

Es perfecto! Está en pleno casco antiguo con múltiples opciones de restaurantes a buen precio. Tienes la playa y el castillo con miradores a 2 min andando! Si vuelvo a Peñíscola volveré a alojarme aquí definitivamente. Por cierto lo mejor ha sido el trato del personal muy eficiente y educado !

Hospedagem em Peniscola
Boa localização, aos pés do Castelo e bem próximo da praia, com vários restaurantes ao redor. Pode se fazer tudo a pé a partir do hotel. Estacionamento com parquímetro na rua em frente. Cama espaçosa e decoração de bom gosto. Ampla sacada no apartamento do terceiro pavimento, de frente para a muralha e a rua que na praia. Café da manhã muito pobre e reduzido, ficando caro pelo que oferece. A porta do banheiro era de vidro, o que não é adequado, pois não veda o ambiente, além de quando se acende a luz do banheiro clarear o quarto, incomodando a outra pessoa que está no quarto se você não estiver sozinho. Além disso, esta porta tinha a abertura e o fechamento muito pesados.
