“Hotel Bahia Suites”

It is ok if you just want to have a place to sleep without any special treatment. You save money and it is safe.

“Roger”

It was good hotel, quite close to the center but , it is better take a taxi in the night.

“Hotel in a convenient location in the older section of town. Nothing special but adequate....”

Room was in the older section of town (not the romantic old town). Convenient in town. Breakfast was free. It was okay...I think it was decent for the area. Staff were friendly. If I come back to Panama City I would try to stay in the new part of town.

“Not so impressed”

Check in was fine and attendants were very friendly and courteous. The hotel itself is not so very nice. Old building, old rooms, unconfortable beds and pillows, etc.

“Uncomfortable bed and surrounding area”

Hotel was clean, breakfast sufficient, restaurant meals good and abundant. The room was clean, bed uncomfortable with only 2 flat pillows, had 2 use bedspread to make my head more comfortable. The air conditioning unit is noisy, room key had to be inserted for lights and air con to operate. Surrounding area of hotel is depressing lacking of things to do, e.g. restaurants, shops and the sidewalks are dangerously cracked. Watch your feet walking around there. There are no street lights to safely cross streets. Would not walk out at night. Definitely need to be able to drive there or taxis (very cheap). Staff was friendly, helpful. Gym was locked the entire time we were there. If on budget, this is an ok place to stay, otherwise, there are better places within the city to stay. They do charge you extra for use of the in room safe and phone calls.

“Lack lustre”

This hotel is fine for a day or two, but the reception staff were not very friendly and often the information that they gave us about surrounding sites or directions were wrong. When room expectations were not met upon arrival, staff tried to make us believe that it was our fault, until written proof of the room specifications which were promised was shown. Also, service was extremely slow.

“Hotel Bahia Suites”

It was a good price booked sight unseen, but it appears different in the photos than it actually is in person. The standard queen room was clean and adequate for an overnight stay coming in from the airport. It had a restaurant facility within the hotel so that I did not have to go elsewhere after arriving from the airport. It also included a basic buffet breakfast.

hôtel ancien qui a besoin d'être rénové mais bon rapport qualité prix en fonction des normes panaméennes (40€ avec expédia la nuitée pour 2, petit déjeuner compris). un peu bruyant pour l'instant car construction du métro de Panama City au pied de l'hôtel et ce jour et nuit !! - isolation phonique de la chambre ok agréable salle pour le petit déjeuner personnel très serviable et toujours prêt à aider hôtel que nous recommandons

“Well good and poor”

First the good, its very close to Calidonia, and Ave Central market, there is the Benedorm 24 hr restaurant, up the street as well. The poor, the food in the restaurant is not so good, so much so, that we took breakfast in the Benedorm, instead of the free buffet!! These are not what we in North America would call a suite, its just a regular room. As well at the time of this writting, they were digging up the road outside the hotel. Not really sure why Panama needs to use the jackhammers to 6 AM...

“Misleading”

I was truly disappointed due to the fact the photos online were some what misleading. Photo showed suite having a Jacuzzi in room as I was on my 21 wedding anniversary and preferred it a little romantic and it only had a shower. No face nor bath towels just drying off towels also no floor towel. Bed was shaky. I asked front desk clerk if all rooms were the same she stated yes. I told her I was disappointed. Breakfast was o.k.
