The room temperature was 25 deg C and A/C did not work so i had to sleep with the window open. With the hotel backing onto the highway it was extremely loud. And then at 5:30 am they did garbage collection of the hotel Bins which also was very loud.

your pillows are waaaaaaay too thick!!!!!!! Had to sleep almost sitting up. Had to take away the pillow and try to sleep without one. Had a VERY sore neck for 2 days. Will not visit again nor will i recomend

This a hotel for homeless and refugees would have been nice to know in advance. No breakfast but they feed the poor with my tax dollars. Should be designated as such.

Seemed to be an issue with the thermostat and room became 26C/80F overnight. Rooms are what you pay for, very basic beds and sheets. $200 deposit seems high

I was in room 117 Constantly doors in the hall were opening and slamming shut all night. It was noisey. Really tiny room. Old looking, smelled musty. Needs to be renovated. Carpet looked old, used stained. Mattress could feel the springs. For $153.00 a night was not worth it.

Stayed there for a night price was fair The only thing i didn't like was the bed.......bed was "Shakie ",looks like was an old frame and box spring other than that, for a few hours of sleep not bad Oh. And the pillows to stiff

Good location in Whitby. Close to restaurants and GO station. Reasonable rates...HOWEVER disappointed this time: i) very poor mattress sagging and needs desperately to be replaced. ii) needed to reactivate card for the room for 2nd night and waited almost 15 minutes for clerk to appear at Front desk. Was astounded that Reception area was left unattended and unsupervised for such a long time. Anyone can enter and could cause trouble with no supervision of access. Did not feel safe or secure with such lax control at front desk. Having no one at Front desk (and entrance) exposes Hotel (and guests) to risk and creates vulnerabilties. On a positive note: 2nd time I have registered when Amanda was on (day shift) Reception. She is a REAL ASSET to the company: super courteous, efficient, helpful and great rapport with sense of humour with guests in those instances I witnessed. She needs to be commended. A bright light in this otherwise disappointing experience. I do not enjoy feeling 'vulnerable' when I am a guest in a hotel/motel. I hope management increases resources....

Roach Motel 6
Checked in, upon room inspection we found the room wasnt all hat clean, upon inspection of mattresses ( we always inspect for bed bugs anywhere we stay) we didnt see any bugs but the mattress was full of different colour of stains, turned my stomach!! There were a few of us that were supposed to stay there and one of the other couples found bed bugs in their room upon inspection. We all checked out immediately and demanded a full refund! What a roach motel for sure!! Do not recommend to anyone!!!!

It was good value for a one night stay, it is a bit dated , some small visual defects around just from being old but you get what you pay for. Nothing that was terrible just a old clean room.

Staff were friendly. Dirty water mop bucket in hall all night. The hallways smelled unpleasant. The walls are paper thin, and we could hear everything happening in every adjoining room, including loud altercations, swearing, and a television all night long. The room was clean, the only saving grace. The price was affordable, but you get what you pay for. I won’t stay again. If you have to stay, and you don’t have a pet, I recommend requesting an upper floor room when you make your reservation. I did not feel safe on the main floor.

I stayed at this motel just last night and I am absolutely covered in bed big bites.( 15-20). Had an allergic reaction so have to go to the hospital this morning. I will never be staying at this motel ever again!!! Clean your rooms!! Deal with your problems!! charging $200 for a room that’s infested with bugs, smells and isn’t clean is a big problem. Don’t stay here!! It’s not worth the little less you’ll pay for the other hotels in the area.

Smells like cigarette everywhere, in the hallways, in the rooms. AC did not work, it was so hot in the room, had to keep the window openned all night and it was super noisy outside. Seems like people smoke in the hotel and it travels in the vents because the cigarette smoke smell was terrible especially in the bathroom. Worst night ever.

The guy at the front desk was nice. He’s the only good thing about this location. I’ve stayed at Motel 6’s before, and this is by far the most disgusting experience I have EVER had! Within the first 5 minutes of being in the room, we found 2 bugs crawling around. After their demise, we were happy to not have spotted another one. The comforter had cigarette burns in them. One mattress was caved in the middle. My daughter and I slept fully clothed over the blankets. Absolutely disgusting. The mini fridge was covered in the last persons greesy finger prints, and the table and chairs were both unclean. I used soap and our face towels to clean everything in the room. There was some weird white gunk mixed with hair stuck to the wall in the bathroom, as well as writing on the wall. Floors were sticky. The walls are paper thin. We heard people walking above us, and the TV next door. Needless to say…will never go back to this location, and may never go to a Motel 6 again in my life.

It was not that much cheaper than other options but the place was pretty basic, clean , but double beds and no services. It was more like a university dorm room and it was very hot. If i was a single woman i would find it a bit sketchy late at night.

Took 15 minutes for employee to show up behind the desk. There are people living there like this is an apartment building. Towels in the room were stained and the furniture is very dated. T.V. was very grainy to watch. Hallways smelled like smoke, like you were in a smoky bar.

Nobody at front desk on check out. Security too lazy to move out of way of door. No control over heat. Window open whole time. Overpriced for such bad conditions. Bugs kept getting in through the non working bathroom fan. You need better syaff here
