Loved it all . Only thing was this was the first Residence Inn we have been in there wasn’t a separate room for the bed. We like that better but it was fine as there was only 2 of us. Might be a bit tougher with a family

This is a very old property and not well-maintained. There was a stench in the room that smelled like an old house there appeared to be water damage under the sink in the cabinets that possibly attributed to the stench that we smelled. Additionally, the bathroom was less than acceptable as the tub Was not cleaned. You could see soap scum and dirt around the tub presented as a ring of dirt we were traveling with small children and none of us were able to take a shower that night experience was less than optimal.

The whole staff were amazingly professional, courteous and kind. Evan assisted with our check in and was very helpful. The room was very nice and very clean. Simply put, we will be using this as our Residence Inn when visiting family in Florida.

Excellent place to stay. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of space with a loft & 2 bathrooms, clean kitchen, clean bathrooms, and no bugs found. One of the best hotels that I have stayed in. Slightly dated has an 80's feel, but that is fine with me.

The property wasn’t what I expected. It’s very outdated from the inside out. The shower leaked, the bathroom sink was draining extremely slow, there was an old smell in the room, and the bathroom was cleaned poorly. The staff were very polite and accommodating. They changed my room without hesitation,but it wasn’t any better. The location was perfect for the occasion. I guess this is what I get for booking at the last minute.

In a two week vacation covering Orlando, Marathon, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Key West, and many others, Residence Inn was by far the very best!

Exterior of property is very run down, faded, not well kept. Landscape was not attended to at all. Walkways were messy, trash, rocks…. Interior was very cheap feeling. Showe Mr curtain rod was coming off wall and shower curtain would not stay in place.

This property is starting to show its age but still a nice place to stay. The breakfast bar is always well stocked and clean. The service is 5 star and its close to a lot of differant restaurants( Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Kobi Steak House, etc. Would stay again, no problem!

The room was dirty, moldy, the carpet was discussing and had holes in it. The bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete and the bedding was put on inside out. Tried to call the front office and all we got was a message that the mailbox was full. Went to the office and no one was available. Took three days to get clean towels, asked for an additional blanket and it was dirty. Marriott needs to take this property offline and revamp the entire property. Will not stay there again.

Residence Inn at Altamonte Springs
Nice clean hotel located off main highway in a quiet area. The breakfast offered at the hotel was great. The hotel is located in a walkable area near many restaurants and stores. Whole Foods, Starbucks and a mall are located nearby.

Average but wouldn’t stay again.
This hotel seems like an old apartment/condo complex that was converted to a hotel. The room was spacious but pretty outdated. The shower head leaked and I’m pretty sure the tub was leaking too. We didn’t really want our toddlers bathing in the tubs due to a weird stain (blood or rust) so when they needed baths we did it at my family’s house who we were visiting. We stayed for 4 nights and the maid never came one time. You can hear everything going in the room above you and beside you. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because it offered free cribs. They didn’t give us one (we didn’t bother to go back and ask because it was already late so we just had our kids sleep with us). The stay wasn't completely awful but we would not stay again.

Beware of Hidden Charges
Beware of the hidden parking charge- while it is not much, what frustrated me the most was the fact that it was not mentioned to me at check-in. This was for a business trip, and I had alreayd pre-calculated the total cost for the trip for my boss. The hotel is very closed in, so where else am I supposed to park? I would have appreciated an explanation, this unfortunately soured my experience. Also the place is old and in need of major upkeep for the outside. The inside is okay but still run-down.

All around great stay! Quick run down. Cons: Not informed of the on site parking $5 /day Hole in celiling of vent to get to ac unit Bathroom is tight squeeze Pros: Heat 🔥✅️ Spacious/Cozy Tv/WiFi ✅️ Bed/Linen -Amazing✅️ Breakfast weekend was better than i had anticipated. Weekend was egg and cheese breakfast "tacos"; oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, waffles and your standard milk, fruit, yogurt toppings were awesome, gave a great variety. Weekday-GF muffins, same milk, yogurt, grits, sausage, eggs.. the orange juice is delicious. All around great stay would recommend others

Great location for my purposes and reasonable rates. Room was clean and spacious, plenty of chairs and flat surfaces. Not too much to the property itself but clean and located next to a great Mexican restaurant. I did not like the $5.00 fee per night for parking.

Brilliant!!!!
We cannot fault Residence Inn Orlando Altamonte Springs. We were there for 10days to tend to the final arrangements for our mother/mother-in-law who had passed. The location was perfect, the rooms are huge and comfortable and fully kitted out for a longish stay. All staff were exceptionally friendly and accomodating but our special thanks and praise must go to Darius who went beyond the call of duty. What an absolute legend and an asset to the hotel. He was a delight, always smiling and nothing was any trouble even when we requested a room change. Alec was also extremely helpful in sorting out a couple of very minor things in our room. Another asset to the hotel, polite, accomodating and extremely pleasent. Breakfast was lovely and the breakfast staff always there to greet you with a good morning and a smile. We would definitely stay again and recommend to famly, friend or colleague looking to stay in Orlando. Thank you Darius and Residence Inn Orlando Altamonte Springs!

Enjoyed our stay the last week of December 2023. Overall a good experience. The pool was nice and warm. Breakfast was late one day and they took some money off our bill, so no problem. Friendly staff. Right off the highway but not so close where you can hear traffic. About 25 min away from all the parks.

The property seems like being converted from apartments, old style, room is spacious but bathrooms are such tiny, more important is, poor maintenance. We have stayed there twice, one unit had shower switch valve leak, instead of reporting to repair, the housekeeper just over tightened it so I even can’t turn on the shower. The breakfast was reasonable for one day, was miserable for another day (kitchen worker didn’t show up).

There was nothing that I lost sleep over. Visually, the property is looking tired. Anytime you've exposed wood in Florida, it takes a beating. I saw a few instances of rot. The hing of the door to my room was shimmed against the hinge jamb, making it a poor fit. Someone might have kicked it in, normally necessitating a door jamb replacement. Otherwise the stay was fine.

I am so so glad I chose this hotel
Everyone was really nice and accommodating for me. I was having a hard time and they gave me a late check out which is really nice because I didn’t have a ride at the checkout time that’s normal. I just appreciate every single thing all around. The room was very, very clean and it was just so nice and the bed was super comfortable. And the breakfast was amazing. Thank you so much you guys, I will be back.
