The worst JW I’ve ever been to, impossible to do anything here. The king resort view rooms with balconies are subpar for the price, the bathroom showers…seen nicer showers in motels like it’s a joke for a “luxury” hotel shower. The pool is great, the only great thing, forget about having a drink or food by the pool, there’s no service available anywhere unless you dine in the pool restaurant or have a reserved cabana that doesn’t even cover you from sun, they literally have to put towels on their cabanas to make a roof, who designed that? Sat at the restaurant pool side to dine in to be able to get food, it took 10minutes for anyone to even come to the table, and it took another 15minutes before I had a frozen dispensed frose. This property has terribly poor service,called the expensive daily valet to have the car brought and they were like “we’re too busy you have to request it in person”, I was only able to use the call down service once in th days I stayed, and they moved the seat every time. If you have a pet there’s a high NON-Refundable pet fee which is nowhere to be found on Expedia. The daily resort fee doesn’t get you access to gym or sauna, you also need to either book at the spa or pay for a day pass (yes, as a staying guest!! How amazing is that?) and then you can use the gym and saunas…I called ahead and was told I could, not true. STAY AWAY

They overbooked this property to a ridiculous extent. We went down to the pool/lazy river at 11am and asked if there were any available chairs. We were told that we could sit on the ground. The service the rest of our stay was in line with that.

Beautiful hotel. Clean room, excellent air conditioning. Lovely pool area. Our one issue was that the shower leaked horribly. It was leaking at the rubber casing at the bottom of the glass door. Water was all over the bathroom floor and made a huge mess.

Thank you, was a wonderful stay with daughter and her friend, had taken full advantage of the pool. However I rented a cabana which was expensive and a service/ gratuity was added to the charge in which I was notified until I received my invoice. I was not impressed by this.

Good things: Overall, the resort and the facilities are available outside of the room, and customer service is available at the reception. There is cleanliness inside the hotel. The things that need to improve (In comparison with the experience at JW Marriot in Vancouver, BC): 1) The room, as we pay a high price, we need at least decent space inside the room. After using Sofa bed we didn't have even moving space in the room; what is the point of having sofa bed then. 2) We ordered the food in the pool area, but they got the wrong order (Veggie burger with Bacon) after 50 minutes of waiting; the staff was not even apologetic for the wrong order and rudely asked us to wait as it might take longer. The cleanliness in the same restaurant was poor. 3) Room service is not as per the standards of JW Marriot. When we asked to fix the sofa bed as it was not opening, the staff came and asked us to do it ourselves and move the island ourselves. I never had these issues with other JW Marriot or Fairmont facilities.

The hotel is connected to Ritz Carlton by a hallway in the most beautiful grounds and surrounding. Great for kids with the best pool . Yes few minutes further to Disney Parks etc... but totally worth it. The only negative was the food in the restaurants. All of them had great ambiance but definitely the chefs and menu must be changed as the food was not good. Very friendly staff. Amazing hotel.

Such a beautiful hotel! The grounds are gorgeous and the pool and slides are a dream for kids and parents. Room was clean and location was perfect. We had one day at the pool where service was horrible with a particular server but every other day was exceptional!

We had an overall positive experience. The only 2 dings that I have would be pool area staffing and food service time was over 2hrs. On checkout, no one answered the phone to order bell service. I had to go down to the front desk. This was Easter weekend and you would think the hotel management would have the foresight to staff properly for capacity. I'm going with poor management. Who do I need to fire? You're in the service business. You know your booking capacity in advance.

Very disappointed
The grounds are beautiful. But the condition of the rooms were not. Our first room had apparently just had the carpets cleaned. Smelled terrible and carpets were literally wet. Not just a little. We were there to relax before a week of work. When we complained they put us in another room but there was zero compensation for our inconvenience. We had a lot of luggage had unpacked a bit already since we didn’t discover the carpets were wet until we came back from dinner and took off our shoes. (We were going to live with the smell and thought the a/c would clear it up. ). Said that wasn’t good enough and they offered us another room with better view. Got to the room with all our luggage and discovered the room didn’t have a tub which is a deal breaker and not the room we ordered. Went back down and after the manager came out and did “something in the back” we were out in another room with better view. But this room too had issues! No light fixture on the desk as was in all of the previous rooms. Fire alarm hanging off the wall. At these prices and it’s a JW Marriott?! Not acceptable. But we’d been through enough and stayed. For all this….they gave us a $100 credit……That’s not even 10% off of what we paid to stay there. Never again. They’ve forgotten that they’re in the hospitality business.

Double check the pricing!
Obscene parking charge on top of a significant resort fee. Stated room price ok but add on fees and limited and heafty on site restaurant options are not crowd pleasers . Can do as well or better elsewhere without the feeling you are subsidizing the overhead!!!!
