“A Great Vacation”
This was our second trip to Disney World and our first stay at a Disney Resort. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and kind. There are opportunities to see the animals throughout the hotel. We stayed at a standard room. We were able to see many of the animals from our room at different times of the day. There are complimentary buses to the parks from the hotel. After staying at a Disney Resort I would not consider another hotel if I travel to Orlando again.
“Truly Magical”
Animal Kingdom Lodge is a great place for families with younger children. The lobby is beautiful, the savannah rooms have WONDERFUL views of the animals, and the dinner buffet is out of this world. The ONLY negative to staying at this resort is it's location. Disney is kind enough to shuttle you from the Lodge to all theme parks by bus (which is a ten minute ride at most), but you do feel a little off the beatin' path. Other than the bus rides, we give this resort (5) stars!!!!!
“great place to stay”
We loved this hotel. We have stayed at several other hotels on the Disney property over the years. Being able to check for zebra, giraffe, etc. from the balcony was extremely cool. The pool area was a touch crowded. If you have very young kids and the pool is a huge feature, there are other Disney hotels that might be better for you. Everything else was great, and very good value for what we spent.
“Nice View of Animals”
We enjoyed the stay, everything was good except for house keeping not giving us the proper amount of face towels on each of the days. We left 4 face towels each day, and when they cleaned the room, they only left 2 face towels. Everything else was great.
“WHAT A VIEW!”
This hotel was amazing! Imagine looking out into the Disney Animal Kingdom Savannah and hearing faint drums playing in the background? The lobby is breathtaking and hotel staff was wonderful.
“Animal Kingdom Paradise”
The hotel was comfortable, not too crowded, and the staffers all exceeded my expectations when it came to customer service. The hotel lobby was full of comfortable little seating areas for little people to be comfortable. There was also a convenient cafeteria type eatery with packaged foot items as well as items from the grill. A little pricey for the quality, but it is to be expected. There was also a gift shop that included grocery items,...and very friendly staff. Upbeat, happy staff are very important to me when I go on vacation. Since I am there to have a good time I selfishly expect everyone to be in a good mood. I was not at all dissapointed with any of the service received at the hotel. Great job :)
“Fun.”
This place is totally Disney, every detail was perfect. We were only there 2 days and I feel I could have stayed so much longer. Any child that gets to stay here will have an absolute great adventure.
“Great for Kids Who Love Animals”
The Animal Kingdom Lodge is a great place for kids. Our 8 year old son was THRILLED with the giraffes, ostrich, zebras, etc... literally just outside our room. Not all rooms have this view, so make sure you reserve one specifically. We didn't but fortunately were able to change rooms upon arrival thanks to a very nice manager.
“Orlando Best Hotel”
everything good. Espectacular
