We had a wonderful stay on our family vacation. Our room has an excellent view of Monument valley. Great amenities with many options to learn about the history of the property and the onsite restaurant is so convenient. 5 Stars.

We stayed in the single units and it was great. Even came with your own parking space. I highly recommend staying here and doing the 8 hour guided tour. There is so much to see! Everyone is so friendly and helpful.

The small house we stayed in was perfect. Front row view of the sunrise. Dining facility could use a little updating. Unfortunately, after driving a couple thousand miles to visit the valley, it was closed. But the stay at Gouldings was great.

Our lodging was referred to as a suite, but it was actually a stand-alone, prefab mini-house. It had a full-sized fridge, microwave, Keurig, toaster and dishes, glasses, cutlery... one separate bedroom with a queen bed and another queen bed in the common area, a porch with table and chairs, everything one could wish for in a rental home except a stovetop! To boot we had gorgeous views and were 3 minutes from the entrance to Monument Valley tribal park. We highly recommend this location. Bring your own food and wine/beer if you imbibe, as there are no alcoholic beverages sold on the Navajo reservation, and decent food is scarce. Think picnicking, not restaurant dining.

The lodge consists of hotel rooms and lodges. Most rooms provide a view of the monuments. The restaurant serves very decent food.

Great location for monument valley. I got great photos at sunrise from the bottom of thevproperty and sunset from the trails above the property. Cabins and hotel have a view and the lidge offers tours but you use a different provider if you want. If you want to drink, bring your own because they dont sell alcohol on the reservation. The restaurant is so-so but the only ine there; however, they have excellent cooking facilities in the cabin.

Super cute property.. they don’t let you check in 15 mins early.. the diner food was greasy and slow. The customer service can be improved. Bad customer service but signs for tips everywhere

The restaurants food was wonderful!!! The fry bread is to die for! The sunsets are out of this world! We stayed in one of the modular cabins and it was amazing! I would highly recommend anyone to visit this wonderful place. I would highly recommend the all day tour of the valley.

This area has historic value. Better to stay out at the suites. Much newer than the hotel rooms. Look at the tours.

Gouldings was GREAT! We had a villa, which was soacious and spotless. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The food was good and plentiful at the restaurant

Very clean room with a beautiful view of Monument Valley! Ladies at the front desk were friendly, helpful. Our restaurant with a server in the restaurant was terrible but the hostess and manager helped to rectify it.

The hotel has lovely views of Monument Valley from all rooms. Nice trading post on the property, a museum and small theatre to watch John Wayne. Restaurant provides good meals and is the only restaurant close by. There is a grocery store 5 minutes away. The scenic 17 mile drive is a must see - take the tour vehicle from the hotel or drive it yourself.

Excellent views & we did an excellent tour with Gouldings of Monument Valley. You can drive yourself but this tour takes you to other parts of the area, which you can not go to if you drive yourself & the guide was very informative. The dinner & breakfast were good and the staff excellent with of course iconic views. Reception was also smooth and welcoming. Due to its location it is a bit more expensive than if you stay in Kayenta. The restaurant prices were reasonable.

Really enjoyed our tour with our tour guide, Sam. He was very informative and fun! Our room was very clean and had a nice view of sunrise. Everyone was very pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit!!

Disappointing stay. We booked a king room with a view, It was beautiful! Ready to get up early for sunrise and looking forward to a good breakfast on the deck. As soon as we settled in to sleep there was scratching on the walls - LOUD. Some sort of Rodent. After 2 hours of this, we called and were moved to a house that we had to drive to. Security was cordial. One of the toilets in the 'mobile home' would run periodically and put out a screeching noise. we managed to block the sound enough by closing doors. The 'view' was over the rooftop of other houses and it was now after midnight, we had to unpack still.......not getting up for sunrise with no sleep!! By the time we packed up in the morning and drove back to the lodge, we skipped breakfast and left the area. Certainly didn't live up to expectations and hype for us.....Alot to pay for a poor nights sleep while on the road..
