"Overall stay was great. Room was very clean. Ocean view room was spacious, clean, and very inviting and comfortable. View of ocean was awesome. Having the subway stop right behind the hotel is very convenient. Breakfast was just okay. Flow through the line wasn’t great and warm breakfast items seemed to run out a lot. Simple breakfast but food tasted good. Dining room was very clean and well laid out. Overall definitely a hotel I would stay at again. "

"I enjoyed my stay at The Hawthorne Hotel. The proximity to a lovely green walkable space The Common was an unexpected bonus. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff is very nice, the food at the Tavern and Nathaniel’s was outstanding! Blueberry pancakes = delicious! A few items that could be improved: the entry doors could be refreshed / cleaned well. The bed pillows could also use a refresh. Overall though a wonderful stay in a historic hotel. "
