Asked for servicing and it wasn’t done. Went to front desk Friday 5/17 in late afternoon and let them know. Person working said housekeeping was done for the day. I said there is a pile of wet towels & I need cleaned towels and bed changed. She replied “well I guess I have to do it myself”. Came back from dinner & sheets & towels were thrown on bed. Told front desk the next morning & room was serviced

Not worth it! It's hyped up price and glossiness doesn't live up to its expectations at all. Not going to recommend and avoid staying on next visit at all cost.

Loved staying here! Was a little weird with housekeeping asking us if we were checking out soon ( we still had about 2 hours before we had to check out by) but the staff we very friendly and helpful!

Clean, updated and enormous historic hotel room with a view of the USS Wisconsin. Best hotel value I’ve encountered in recent memory. Will stay again.

Elegant Stay in Norfolk
A beautiful hotel in historic downtown Norfolk. The design touches throughout the hotel are lovely. The room was comfortable and clean. My only complaint is that I had the car parked by valet, which was the only way that you can use the EV charger. However, the car wasn't charged, even after I asked the staff to look into it.

The room was noisy and very difficult to sleep in. A lot of light pollution as well. Besides numerous small lights, a smoke detector was constantly flashing bright light illuminating the room throughout the night. Very disappointing experience with this hotel.

Over night at Glass Light
The design of the Glass Light Hotel is clean and contemporary with glass art as its unifying theme. I loved seeing the artwork throughout the hotel including the lights in our room. The place is conveniently located downtown and has a good energy. The valet service is excellent. The front desk was unattended when we arrived (around 8 pm on a Sunday) so we waited for about 15 minutes to check in. Also, there was a damaged window shade in the room. Although we chose this hotel because we could arrive late and still eat, the kitchen closed earlier than advertised due to a maintenance issue so we had to venture out to find dinner. There was no room service available either.

Anniversary Weekend
This was our Anniversary weekend and this hotel did not disappoint. I mentioned this to the staff & they had a complimentary dessert waiting in our mini fridge. Everything was perfect! We will be back!

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights, staff was kind and friendly room was clean, but my husband needed to work from the room and there was no work area. The hotel is more setup for design than function, and there was no table, only rocking chairs to sit in, and a low lamp in the middle of the room we kept hitting our head on. All the surfaces were messy with a coffee machine, snacks to buy and a art book so no good surfaces to keep things on. There was only a small wardrobe and the drawers were small. Just not a functional place we would ever return to or recommend for anyone.

The room was fantastic! We were on the top floor in a corner looking down on the USS Wisconsin which was lit up for Christmas. The staff were all very polite and friendly and breakfast was wonderful!
