One night stay. The staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. Location was ideal, close to the pier, the beach and the gardens. Bar and restaurant area have recently been done up and are very nice. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening. Didn’t use the pool as it was still warming up after shutdown for winter but enjoyed a game of pool and darts. Our room was small and dated which was the only downside to a lovely two days in GY.

The hotel was within walking distance and the staff were extremely friendly / helpful. The only thing i would say us the rooms were far too hot, which meant we had to open the windows but it was noisy at times. Great to have a pool and games room as a bonus too. But pool water was pretty cold. Overall great hotel.

Nice property from the outside, entrance and reception area nicely finished. Upper floors looking tired and in need of an update. Think one upon a time a very nice establishment with many regular customers but been left too long to upgrade and keep up the, what i think not so long ago, was a very prominent business for great yarmouth.

we enjoyed a 5 day break being well attended to by all of the staff and enjoying the facilities of the Palm Court. very good restaurant, great breakfast selection, lovely clean room, well serviced. The pool was good but the changing facilities lacked secure storage. luggage assistance on arrival would have been appreciated

Lovely view of the beach.
The check in was easy. I did find it a little confusing how to enter the premises but may just have been me! The room was clean and well presented, just a little dated but it is an older building so to be expected. We only stayed one night and just used as somewhere to sleep so cannot comment on service with regards to food and drink. We had a room with a sea view which was lovely. It was nice to see the moon on the sea in the night. Overall a very good location and a comfortable overnight stay.

We have stayed at this property a few years ago and it was a really nice stay.this time around we didn't have fresh towels (WE HAD TO ASK). The room was not cleaned all barring 1 day(4 night stay)and when we complained we were told it was juat a miss cumunication error and nobody really was bothered apart from a couple of staff which we were friendly with

My family and I stayed at The Palm Court Hotel for 2 nights in August 2023 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the family room for the 4 of us was perfect for our needs and budget. The location of the hotel was excellent with a 10 minute walk to Britannia Pier and the hustle and bussle of Great Yarmouth centre. On site car parking included in the price was very convenient and helpful. We would definitely come and stay at this hotel again. Thank you to the staff of The Palm Court Hotel.

Our stay
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The main area's of the hotel were good bar area dining room pool area all good and clean. Car parking was good. Our room was very tired and needs updating. Carpet was old and had a horrible smell. Had kettle for tea and coffee but no water, tap in bathroom but difficult to fill kettle, needs to have bottled water supplied. Breakfast is a fixed charge £13, which is expensive if you want just a poached egg for example. If menu had price against what you ordered we would have probably had Breakfast there. Overall for what we paid we were generally happy. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

breakfast is a fixed charge from 7.15 - 9.30 during the week and until 10am at weekends, this includes the buffet, tea and coffee and anything from the menu.we run an itemized menu from 9.30 - 11.30 daily

We had an overnight stay and a great experience. The only niggle was the shower was pants. Ate in the Dune restaurant which was amazing food. Would happily stay here again. Short walk to the Britannia pier and main shopping area which was pleasant.

nice view of the sea
rooms a little dated, shower was not very powerful at all, other areas of the hotel have been modernised, my son felt very uncomfortable when we arrived and had to walk through the restaurant to get to reception, he has social anxiety, we used the back door the rest of the stay, shame i wouldnt use the pool as you had to access it through the bar, staff were helpful and friendly, i didnt feel the cooked breakfast was worth the money
