“you have to stay herd”
This is truly the best hotel in Niagara falls. I just returned and while it was my first time in Niagara falls, I can't imagine any other hotel being better. Everything about the hotel was perfect. The breakfast in bed is wonderful. Do yourself a favor and stay here.
“Lovers Hotel”
The Pros: I thought I booked a room with two queen beds. Hotel only has Kings, so they upgraded us to their deluxe room with a pull out queen along with the King. Very nice of them. It is obviously a romantic hotel theme which was a little akward for my brother in law and I. The room had a fireplace, fridge, robes, cookies, breakfast in bed, etc. Very nice. Free parking too. Cons: The giant steam shower didnt work very well, and nothing was done about it when I reported it. The phone didnt work and nothing was done about it when I reported it. 3 easy block walk to the falls and most things. Overall: Niagara Falls doesnt seem to care about repeat business. After reading the reviews on other hotels in the area, I would only pick this one.
“Best Hotel I Have Stayed In”
I never sleep in hotel rooms and slept like home here! The room was roomy, clean and well maintained. They gave you breakfast at your chosen time which was great. The location was one block away from all the traffic and noise of the Clifton Hill District. So it was very easy to get to it but kept the noise at bay. The hotel staff was very friendly. This also has the best restaurant in town.
“Fabulous!!!!”
This was the BEST hotel that we have ever stayed in. Beautiful big room, quiet, nicest bathroom, and breakfast delivered to our room each morning. I highly recommend the Sterling!
“Great Place! The king size bed was very comfortable!”
The suite was really nice for the money. A little on the dark side since I love bright lights especially in the bathroom. made putting on make up harder. Everything was clean and the jacuzzi was amazing! We went there for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was worth it. We did a couples spa massage and it was good but now wowing. You can walk everywhere if you are up to it. The Falls were awesome, and Maid of the Mist was the best! The only thing I was shocked at was the 13% sales tax then on top of that is the 3% tax for being in a tourist area. That made everything way too expensive. It was a great place to visits and lots and lots to due if you can afford it. Go to the wineries and try the ice wine, I thought it was delish..... When I visited Canada the US dollar was worth .93 so there was an extra surprise when you buy something that has a ticket value of $4.99 and when all is said and done you pay $6.19. Now think about all your meals and souvernirs... Ouch! Overall we loved Niagra Falls it was a one time thing you should experience!
“Very Enjoyable Experience”
The room was nice. It included everything mentioned except the tub (not all deluxe suites have one). The shower was huge and the steam option was a plus. The staff was friendly and willing to meet any needs. It's proximity to most attractions is within walking distance. I was disappointed with the wood floor being dirty upon our arrival. Housekeeping did clean it once made aware. The king size bed's mattress is firm, so be aware. Overall, the experience was enjoyable and would consider the Sterling Inn and Spa again.
“pleased overall”
(neighborhood) was less than desirable
“Fun Stay”
The room was beautiful. We arrived late and the staff was great. The bathroom was clean. The big issue was with the comp breakfast. Not only was it late, but the eggs were cold. Secondly when you serve fresh fruit in a hotel room. Remove the sticker and clean the apple. It felt like the little touches were missing to take this from a good to a great.
“Small and quiet”
This hotel was small and away from all the busy streets which made it perfect for us! Since it was small it was very quiet. It felt more like a bed and breakfast. The staff was friendly and the rooms were huge! It was also wonderful having our breakfast delivered to us in the morning.
“Very impressed”
Beautiful hotel !! and only a couple minutes away from everything. When i go to visit again i know where i am going :)
