Great view, but the rest was disappointing.

A special treat for girls night out!

Posted 6-Jan-2015
Very clean and comfortable. We were there for New years eve. A few festive noise makers provided a nice touch. We were surprised extra blankets had to be asked for but the staff was very prompt to provide them. Jacuzzi tub great but suggest safety grab handle as it is deeper than regular tub and hard to get out of if not a tall person. Wonderful view of. Falls and fireworks. Close to restaurants and casino. Overall would chose Oakes again!

Good location

Went here with some friends for New Year's Eve. Front doors were out of order because of wind. Rooms were in need of Reno and not just another new tub liner. Heating and cooling tricky to understand and work.

worst hotel I have been to!!!!!

Posted 6-Jan-2015
this hotel has no tv, you can hear the people in the next room beside you, got no sleep because of that, but the view was nice!, would not recommend it to anyone

Nice hotel located close to the Falls.

Posted 5-Jan-2015
Pros: Convenient to the incline railroad down to the Falls. Beautiful view of the Falls even from the sixth floor. Good restaurants nearby.
Cons: Parking.

Checked in. Found out there was an additional fee for parking. Parking was behind the hotel and there was not enough spaces for the number of cars. Also was dimly lit. Other than that there are no complaints.

Only nice thing is location

Posted 3-Jan-2015
Toilets had crap spots, carpets were old and with stains , and the room as no view to the falls, also a guy named Joel bellman did not borrowed the micro for heating water for my baby formula when another nice lady did a couple hours before

Close to Niagara Falls

Posted 1-Jan-2015
Pros: Great location
Cons: Better thread count on linens and a duvet would make sleeping more comfortable
Room was spacious, but cold on arrival...smelled of chlorine (sheets were scratchy as were the pillows) smelled like a hospital. No blanket on bed ....just bed sheet and bed spread. Hot water in morning ran cold for 3-4 minutes before turning warm. No free wi-fi and parking was $22 extra.

Nice hotel with a decent view of the falls

Posted 29-Dec-2014
Cons: Windows should be cleaned.
Location: Nice proximity to Casino Niagara, less that 5 minute walk.
The view from the hotel room was the highlight of the stay - nice view of the falls. I was disappointed with the observatory. I was under the impression that it was an outdoor observatory, however it is essentially several large windows located on the 14th floor. The windows themselves were not clean, which prevented me from taking photos of the falls. The room itself was okay, a little on the older side, but still relatively clean.
