“Excellent Hotel”
Very friendly staff. Room was much nicer than I had expected for the money. Very close to Clifton Hill. Excellent hotel for the price.
“Great Staff”
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was what I expected for the amount I paid.
“Great if looking for cheap and close to clifton hill”
Postive: comfortable beds, great staff, close to clifton hill. Negative: Hotel is hard to spot at first because it is located in an alleyway. Smallish old 20" TV with no remote control. (we peaked in other rooms and noticed they had much bigger TV's). Sink in bathroom only had Scolding hot water, (faucet by entrance was fine.) Exit by the pool was unlit and pretty creepy if you are alone. The hotel was fine if you are looking for a cheap place to sleep.
“Beyond great fro the price!”
I went with my 5yr old son, my parents who were visiting from out of town and some other friends. This hotel was more than worth it, for the price relative to how close it was to the falls, I was expecting a lot less! It was clean and well maintained, I really was impressed and extremely pleased with myself for having booked this hotel. I actually drove right past it as I did not expect it to be soo close to Cliffton Hill. It was amazing, being in the heart of it all without the noise etc. I actually think it's better than the hotels which are situated on the hill itself. I am returning in the summer as my sister will be visiting and we will be staying here.
“no free breakfast”
if you are looking for a bed this is where you can stay ... close and convienant to attractions ... however THERE IS NO FREE BREAkFAST which was something I was looking for and they dont have and said they have been fighting expedia.com on this since expedia has it in their things to search for ... the pool water temp was very cold ... and we asked for extra towels since there was 4 adults and they did not supply them :(
“Perfect for the value”
At the cost, all expectations were met. Perfect location, good price, not high end on the maintenance but clean and friendly staff.
“Alright for a night.”
The room was exactly what I expected. Good place to stay for a night. The room was clean and comfortable. The service was less than stellar. I went to the office to check out in the morning, but nobody was working the desk. The sign on the door said someone would be available after 10:00 am. I was checking out at 9:00 am and was not interested in waiting around. I wouldn't recommend walking around alone in this area after dark. I didn't feel impending danger, but I was looking over my shoulder quite a bit.
“We just needed a place to sleep and it worked well!”
Parking was a bit of an issue, but they had a lot right across the street. The area it was in wasn't the greatest. We arrived at night and there were a lot of people out, some guys at a hotel across the way were trying to talk to me and my daughters (who aren't even teens yet)... I think they were drunk. But the staff was real friendly and check in was fast. The outside didn't look so great, but the room was nice! It was clean, the beds comfy and the bathroom plenty big. The water pressure was super high, so watch out for that sink. It will spray you! You have to go to the front desk for ice, which didn't bother me. They let us stay parked at the hotel for a few hours after we checked out which was super cool of them. All in all, good hotel for the price. We didn't try the TV or anything. I don't even know if they have a pool or anything, I didn't look, but it was good for sleep.
“Great Place”
Not too far from all the activities, great pricing.
“good Value if you just want a place to sleep”
This hotel is a good place if your going on vacation on a tight budget, it is very close to clifton hill (tourist area). The TV had No remote and it was a Old 20" TV. (Other rooms we peeked in at had larger newer TV's) Bed cofort was not bad and showers were excellent. Bathroom sink only had hot water with no way to adjust to cold or warm. the other Sink next to the entrance was fine. Pool was fine and clean. Alternate exit to the pool leads to an unlit hallway.
