“good hotel”
We thought this hotel was good for the price. It had a great indoor pool and play area for kids. It wasn't in the greatest area, but only a few minutes from the falls and area attractions.
“The pool is the attraction”
The hotel is not as close to the downtown core as I thought, but the pool was worth it. Kids (of all ages) love the feel-like-outside indoor pool. And the pool side menu (the same as the hotel main restaurant) had generous portions at reasonable prices. Good for easy family fun.
“Great Staff”
This hotel provides an easy access to the sites of Niagara Falls without being right in the thick of things. The staff was extremely helpful and very accomodating. The room was really nice and the free wireless internet was a great perk.
“Gem of a Hotel, Especially if you have kids!”
What a gem of a hotel! If you're economy minded and looking for a clean, well kept hotel, then I highly recommend the Cairn Croft. The hotel staff was very friendly and very accomodating to our needs. We have 7-year old twins and a 14 year old and everybody was happy. The pool area was great as well as the TWO hot tubs. They also have a great play area for the little ones and an arcade. We reserved a standard room (two queen beds) through Expedia, and upon checking in, asked if there were any family suites. Unfortunately they were sold out, but the front desk did recommend a larger room that had two queen beds, and a bunk bed as well as a refrigerator. The room was quite a bit larger than their standard room and they upgraded us at no charge. It made a world of difference. What's also nice is that this room is in a seperate building from the actual hotel and very quiet. Niagara Falls was only a five minute drive away and you can park all day at the Skylon Tower for only $5.00 or on the street. If you park on the street, it's a dollar an hour with a two hour maximum, but you can just change the ticket when your time is close to expire. Dining choices were abundant. McDonald's is right next to the hotel and Wendy's is across the street. Overall, I really can't say enough about this hotel. It was everything we hoped it would be and more.
“feb 2010”
I travelled with my mom, my daugther of 11 mths, my sister & her family. Her family was her husband and their 8 yr old and 6 yr old boys. Swimming area was GREAT but no change areas for the kids. I had to change my daugther on a table since we were in the separte buliding area. Rooms were CLEAN and big..we stayed in rm149 and share with 147. Stayed for two nights. One night noise was an issue but called front desk and easily resolved. Restaruants are very close but the hotel is far from most amenties. We had cars to drive but if we didn`t it won`t be great to take my daughter in the cold in her stroller. No shuttle to the casino. Price is good, friendly staff. I would go back in the summer without car Ranked 14 out of 133 of hotels in Niagara.

“A comfortable and affordable stay”
Hotel had a lot to offer with its pool area though we didn't endulge ourselves in the pool... great for kids... the hotel staff was friendly and most helpful... only a short drive from the falls was very convenient... convenient also to several dining venues.

would recommend for family clean rooms and very helpful staff good size pool and childerns play area plus ample "free parking"
