Very neat and clean suburban upper end environment. Not my idea of living

Largest downtown area in Newton, this upscale shopping destination boasts a 33-acre natural lake, Crystal Lake, and historic architecture. Easily accessible via MBTA Green Line "D" branch.
Predominantly residential, Newtonville boasts eateries, bakeries, and cafes on Walnut Street, while Washington Street offers salons and liquor stores. Enjoy easy access to the MBTA Commuter Rail and bus routes.
Historic West Newton Village Center boasts local businesses, independent films at West Newton Cinema, and popular restaurants like Bluebird Cafe and Blue Ribbon Bar-B-Q. Easily accessible via MBTA Commuter Rail and express buses.

Very nice area! Friendly and safe!
I feel so safe and easy there. A very good learning environment for students. Just the traffic is hectic, a 20min drive will cost me an hour drive. Hope the traffic system will improve. The freedom trail walk is so much fun.
