This is a bare-bones Hotel and deserve the price I paid. Book only If you absolutely need to stay near this Hotel. The room had a stale smell and doesn't have anything in the room not even hangers to hang the dress... No coffee maker or microwave oven. There are lot of better hotels nearly for similar cost.
The room was pretty small, a little dirty, the bathroom ceiling had cracks in it, not enough towels or wash cloths, no microwave, and not enough blankets or pillows. Otherwise the room was pretty decent.
I lvved the location. It’s perfect for an out of town visitor. It’s easy to get to. It has great shopping options around it.
I will opt for a better view next visit.
Worst ever experience . The lady at the front was very rude and was not helpful.
There wS no hair dryer and no towels. We called 3 times and dryer was given after 1 hr.
Will never recommend this hotel . Paid $350 per night for 2 days and was the worst decision ever.
Hotel does not have coffee maker, cups or tongs for ice bucket..vending machines are limited, everything is lacking including towels. Rooms are small. Windows open up, not safe for kids.. staff not attentive, depends on who you get. Worst of all, you pay to park. 42 for one night. So beware
FIRST OF ALL, WHILE BOOKING I BELIEVE THAT THE PARKING AND BREAKFAST WAS INCLUSIVE IN THE PACKAGE BUT I HAVE TO PAY FOR BOTH THE DAYS FOR BOTH THE THINGS I FEEL CHEATED.
Overall a nice hotel.
Mini fridge stank though and i asked front desk for cleaning materials. She told me she would send housekeepin up but they were a no show.
On site parking was a tight squeeze but it worked for us.
Still a good place to stay.
Room was ok bedside light was flickering so I couldn’t use it. Window was also open upon arrival with no screen to keep bugs out. Toilet is an older style looked like it was pulled out of a public restroom.
On the bright side the room looked modern. The lobby is beautiful and there’s a security desk right in front which makes things feel safer. Price was relatively low I only paid $100 for the room. It also has modern safety features like elevators requiring a key card. WiFi also ran nice I was able to steam HQ with no problem.
Ideal location for getting to NJ Performing Arts Center, Prudential Center, Newark Museum and Penn Station to travel to NYC.
The hotel switch their central heating system to just air conditioning, which was not good when the temperature dropped from 80 degrees to 50 degrees.
One of the worst hotel experiences ever. Discourteous and unprofessional staff. Parking was challenging and overpriced. Staff from the front desk to room service did not seem to have a firm grasp of the english language. Room had evidence of mold. Woke up to the smell of cheap weed one morning. The next morning while to enjoy the sunrise we witnessed a man exposing himself to joggers in the park. TV did not work most of the time. No assistance to connect to wifi nor how the use uncommon security practices to operate the elevator. I've visited nearly 20 countries in the world and have lived on foreign ships in my United States Navy career. This is one of the worst experiences. I would not recommend this hotel to my enemies.
Good stay at Albert Treat Hotel, clean and spacious. Wholefood market is within walking distance. There are 24/7 hour shuttle that will take you to the nearest station.
