Not good
The hotel's entire second floor is leased by NYC to house homeless families. This would be no problem except there were numerous shouting matches between the staff and the families. Also the security guards were a little unnerving: why do homeless families need security guards? My room was visited by housekeeping on my first day. The bed was not changed, only made. They left me with NO towels, NO toilet paper, no coffee (and that day's coffee was not cleaned out of the coffee maker), etc. Breakfast was close to inedible. I didn't even try to eat it after the first day. Cold watery scrambled eggs, hard, dry, black sausage links...the families from the second floor yelling at their children. Oh and yes, they have free parking but only 12 parking spaces

Covenient location - Small rooms
Easy to get to Manhattan by D train (station within 5-minute walk) which is an Express and zooms to the main island in less than 20 minutes. The bedroom was awfully small with on bed (comfortable bed thou) almost blocking access to the bathroom!

Not bad but the bathroom was very small and the area isn't the best. Okay for a less expensive place but I went to a different hotel the next night that was so much better. (The Avenue Plaza)

Great for a night stay in Brooklyn
I needed a room a night in Brooklyn close to the R subway line. This hotel worked great! The priced caught my eye. The check in staff was very friendly and fast. My room was clean and comfortable. All the staff I ran into the next day was also very friendly. I will stay there again next time I'm in town!

This is my first choice in hotels when traveling in the area..great customer service..the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate all our needs no matter what time of the day or night..The rooms are clean and quiet and the breakfast is good as well..

Barely Acceptable !
The price was a little high for the quality of the hotel.The carpet and sofa in lobby were filthy.I did not receive a warm welcome. It was more that I was looked upon with a suspicion. Even as one evening I went to the breakfast area for some utensils,I happened to look up and there was the front desk clerk watching me. Maybe she wanted to be sure I didn't take too many napkins!

Good Hotel, safe area, only two blocks from subway, great Hot Breakfast. Staff was a little bit rude specially breakfast lady. Hotel says they have parking but only 9 spots then you have to find parking on street.

It definitely isn't worth the price I paid
The guy at the front desk was rude. Our room key deactivated EVERY day so we had to go down to the front desk everyday to re activate it such a pain!

Missing a few promised things like beach & shuttle
Though the listing claims an airport shuttle ($65 round trip) it absolutely does NOT exist. This hotel is in the south part of Park Slope, south Brooklyn, industrial and a bit sketchy. It is nowhere near a beach. The WiFi is strong and free, the free breakfast weak. The room was clean. The fridge was a freezer, making everything solid within hours. Water pressure was minimal, but hot lasted forever.

Be cautious about the so called free parking
The description says free parking but it actually means YOU HAVE TO FIND YOUR OWN FREE STREET PARKING. Never wanna stay at this hotel again. Everything else is just like a normal hotel, but does not worth the money.

Don't stay here.
Check in was time consuming and strange. The coffee maker did not work. There were no wash cloths. The carpet had debris and there were empty wrappers under the desk. There was a strange smell. Awful neighborhood/location.

Great stay in convenient location..
Great accomodating staff and clean hotel. It's a six year old hotel with not very many frills. However, it's two blocks too the beltway where you can connect with every part of the city either driving or by bus or train. We rented a car and it was literally 15 minutes to almost anywhere. Hotel Parking was limited but street parking was always available free of charge out front. My only complaint was that there was no fitness center so I had to get up early each morning and drive to Planet fitness in Bensonhurst..still only a ten minute drive. Rooms are very small and price is a little high for what it is and no fitness center. We are going back there again at the end of the week before heading back to Florida.

this hotel was decent. 1 block away from the subway taking you and your group anywhere. the bad things were the room size, tv didn't work that well and when was working the tv's were fuzzie and air conditioning was a bit bad. however in a decent location and eat to get around.

Nope.
Tiny basement room for $200/night. Gross vibe -- everything felt dirty. Found other people's hairs in my bed. Coffee machine didn't work. There was a weird thing hanging from the ceiling with a black plastic bag over it (a sprinkler? No idea). The walls were PAPER-THIN and I heard a couple doing it in the early morning -- it sounded like they were literally in the room with me. The maids did not come by to clean my room or change my sheets the next day. I checked out a day early even though I'd already paid for a 2nd night because I disliked the hotel that much. The free breakfast was good, however. Lots of items and hot choices as well (waffles, scrambled eggs, etc.)

Economy and transportation convenience.
Hotel was only 2 blocks from the subway with 3 lines. Easy into and out of Manhattan. Breakfast was typical but the eating area was tight.

Was looking for a hotel near Manhattan, but without Manhattan prices. The Sunset Park Brooklyn Comfort Inn fit the bill adequately. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and bed were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean with a good shower. TV was ok, but with very limited stations. Overall, for a quick, inexpensive stay, if you're not expecting anything special, this hotel will suite your needs.

the air conditioner was a nightmare. When it auto turn on it made a big noise and waked me up. I turned it off but it was too cold. that night I was waken up 4 -5 times because of this stupid air conditioner. need change and up date this air conditioner.!

the staff were very unfriendly... there was no towel in the bathroom... the hotel has only 3 parking slots... the fan in the bathroom did not work... I called the staff for towels and they did not bring the towel to the room! the workers in the super small room, for serving breakfast, were very rude and unfriendly...

Decent for an overnight stay
There were dirty towels still on the floor when we checked in, the towels in the bathroom weren't very clean and there were no wash clothes. Only one person on staff so if you needed anything, be prepared for a wait time. It was a nice looking place but housekeeping isn't very good. Overall, it works if you're looking for a very short stay while pass through. I wouldn't pay those rates for more than one night.

Nice hotel for short to medium stay.
Greeted by friendly staff immediately. Small hotel tucked away beside the expressway. Clean rooms. 2 blocks from subway...very convenient. Free parking was a huge and surprise bonus. Also plenty of on street parking directly across the street, but have to be aware of street parking restrictions for longer stays. Hotel is challenging to drive to as it sits directly next to off ramp from BQE. Can only be accessed from 38th Street via 3rd Ave. Didn't do breakfast, so I offer no comment. Overall, I recommend this hotel for small group (less than party of 4) for short stay in the city.

Never was made aware of the "guest policy" . My guest wasn't allowed for coming after me being checked in. Had to leave earlier at 2:00 am and booked a different hotel.

The hotel was fine. Service was normal. The Place was easy to overlook though. It's tucked away on a small one way side street. Use a GPS. Unless you know Brooklyn well. Me and my Fiancée are both from Philadelphia, and have only been to new york a few times, so we didn't know the area. We got lost a little bit. It took us about an hour to locate the hotel. All in all it was a good stay. Pillows are soft but the mattress was a little bit to firm. I'd probably stay there again though. It's about a half hour from times Square and broadway.

A Happy Customer
Our stay was very comfortable except for the first night. In the room next door two men were fairly noisy but quieted down by about 10:30pm. The next couple of nights were very quiet as the room next door was empty. The front desk man was very helpful when we could not connect to the wifi system. The breakfast room is very small and claustrophobic, but offers everything you would want to eat. We have stayed at this Comfort Inn on several occasions and are quite happy with the cleanliness and services of the hotel. It is also convenient to transportation to downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan. We will go back again.
