We paid for a night which was a Sunday but because we arrived there at 3am. The front desk told us we had to pay 250 extra on top of the 150 we already paid because we wanted to check in early. It was a nightmare. I will never come here again. We had to wait till it was close to check in time to check into our hotel which means we had to sleep in the car because we had nowhere to sleep. Then we paid 100 dollars more just to check in at 10am because we had to wait for the housekeepers to come. The parking is horrible and I almost got into an accident because of the way the cars are parked in their lot. No structure or organization whatsoever.
My husband and I are in in our mid-late 70's. I drove to Clinton Hill area to see our daughter. She felt it wise for me to get Uber for the short distance to the hotel at 11pm. When I checked out at 10am the next day, I enjoyed my walk from the hotel to her and felt perfectly safe.
I stayed 2 nights. There was no room service after first night. Sheets towels, pillows were used beyond believe.
Shower had very little water coming out and ice machine across the door from room was loud all night long.
Finally, a rude knock on the door 5 minutes plus 11:00 AM for check out. I travel a lot but 11:00 Am check out is rude for their pricing.
Will definitely go back across the bridge for my next stay in NY in October where you can better deals in Manhattan that have friendly staff and clean rooms.
Altogether disappointing experience.
The hotel is clean, but that's all. The shower is unsafe as there are no hand holds and not even a place to put your soap. It is a falling hazard. There is a microwave, but no coffee service (even for sale). You have to go to the store next door in your PJ's to get food & coffee. There is no washer & dryer and there's no laundromat in the immediate vicinity of 3-4 blocks. The only other good thing is the B62 stops right outside.
There were cigarette burns and stains on the sheets. When we asked them to change them they said they didnt have the key to the closet.
Food from the last people was all over the floor. Cleaning tools were left in bathroom and the water pressure was very low.
Smelled strongly of cigarettes, as though the room I stayed in had smokedetectors disabled and hosted a chainsmoking contest. On my floor there was constant screaming and partying til early in the morning. Overall a sketchy experience, stay here if you'd like a deal I guess
Our room was adjacent to the lobby and it was noisy most of the night, including a loud argument with the desk staff which we feared would lead to violence. Our first indication of the nature of this hotel was finding that the desk was behind a plexiglass barrier!
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. We had to forego our stay here. It was unsafe and not accommodating. We paid extra for 2 beds and only had one available. There were bullet proof glasses at the reception, the room was scary on the first floor, we could not stay here. We were fearful our car wouldn’t be there in the morning. We grew up in Brooklyn and this was far from anything we’ve ever seen. We asked for a refund and reception was very nasty and would not offer anything to accommodate the situation.
Absolutely disgusting location. Cigarette burns in the sheets/on the walls. The sheets were dirty, stains including what looked to be dried blood. The entire property smelled of smoke but it was extremely bad in the room. We did not stay and needed to find other accommodations. After reading the reviews the location also had a recent outbreak of bedbugs.
A lot of noise, you can hear everything from each room, they don't have quiet time... The staff is unprofessional and the rooms have a lot of smell of cigarettes and marijuana, the carpets are super dirty, the bathrooms are Horrible.... They do not offer any extra service
