“Great Hotel, Great Location!”

Our four night stay was over Mardi Gras, so naturally, they were VERY BUSY! We were truly impressed with the service and security they provided during our stay. For example, our air conditioner wasn't working very well, and once we called, maintenance was there within twenty minutes. You couldn't ask for a better location. It's within blocks of the French Quarter, yet just far enough away to get out of the "craziness" when you want to. Jackson Square, the Casino, and lots of great restaurants, shops, and bars, are all within walking distance. The only time we needed a taxi was to and from the airport! The night before we left, we called the front desk and ordered a taxi, and it was waiting right outside the door when we went to the lobby.

“Great location, easy walk to Bourbon St/Riverfront”

Great location, right by the French Quarter. Easy walk to all the popular spots. A couple blocks away from the crowds/noise also meant peace & quiet when you wanted. Hotel staff was very helpful, even with the craziness and activity of Mardi Gras all around. Extra security for the festivities also was appreciated.

“Great Place to Stay in NO”

We were very impressed with the quality and value of this hotel based. Unlike many of the places we ate throughout New Orleans, this hotel was very well staffed. We would stay @ the Sheraton NO anytime again.

“Would definitely stay there again.”

The lobby was beautiful and relaxing. The room I stayed in was a corner room with 2 walls of glass with a spectacular view of the city. This was my first time in New Orleans and I would stay in the Sheraton again.

“Great confort with a superb view!”

The room had the most comfortable king-sized hotel bed I have slept in, and a wonderful view of the river (in the tower). Good location close to Bourbon St., the riverfront, and the Central Business District, but still nice and quiet.

“Great Hotel in the Heart of N'awlins!”

Great hotel - check-in was eazy-breezy! I was there during Mardi Gras, and the parade is right on the parade route! Friendly staff, great location (few minutes walk to Bourbon Street one way and Mississippi River the other), and nice rooms - everything you could ask for! Only oddity was that their computer system is apparently down nightly during the early morning hours, which meant they couldn't access my balance when I checked out at 4:30 AM for an early morning flight. Hotel was prepaid through Expedia, but I still had to put down a credit card for incidentals and didn't like the idea of checking out without a printed record. Would've expected a more efficient system - especially for a hotel of this size. But overall awesome experience & would definitely recommend this hotel!

“Comfortable in New Orleans”

The hotel is very conveniently located to the French Quarter and the River Walk. The staff was very efficient and our check in was prompt and easy. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the elevators were quick. Being on the 33rd floor, that was important. The concierge was very helpful and suggested the restaurant across the street, The Palace Cafe, which was a fabulous experience also.
