WWe had an excellent experience during our stay at the esteemed Hotel St. Marie! The hotel's prime location, just a stone's throw away from Burbon & Royal Street, makes it an ideal destination for culinary enthusiasts. We indulged in two delectable dinners and savored exquisite beverages at the renowned "Vacherie" restaurant, conveniently situated within the premises of the hotel. This will be our getaway spot in Nawlins.

Very close to Bourbon street in a central location. Staff was amazing and room was very clean and comfortable. Parking was expensive but still very convenient.

I had to call them to get the gate open to park when I arrived. Also the room description said it was wheelchair accessible but it was not. Otherwise the stay was comfortable.

This hotel was beautiful.The staff were friendly and kind when checking in. The hotel is in a great location and is close to all tourist attractions. It’s safe and very quiet considering how close it is to bourbon street.

My only issue was there is only one ice maker and we had to go to 1st floor to use it. Otherwise, excellent experience. My mattress needs to be replaced but was totally fine. Otherwise there would be another star.

Hotel St.Marie is in a great location and very easy to walk to anywhere in the French Quarter. The hotel itself was clean, however, our room obviously wasn’t vacuumed in between stays and the beds were old and a little uncomfortable. The pool was a nice bonus, and very refreshing. My biggest issue was the staff. They were friendlyISH. Some more than others. They weren’t very welcoming and the morning manager was very rude and acted like we were an inconvenience to have to even interact with. However, the Bellmen were very nice and helpful. It’s very stressful, exhausting, and a little intimidating traveling to a place you’ve never been before, it would of been nice to be greeted by a staff that could’ve at least pretended to care and at least welcome you. A lot of staff were on their phones and didn’t even bother to say hi when coming and going.

We loved the second room we were in. The first room did not have a window. I talked to the front desk and they moved us to a room with windows. Otherwise great hotel and location.

The front desk, valet, and bar staff were all wonderful. The morning cafe staff was not quite the same, but the breakfast sandwiches are really good. Afternoon/evening we ate in the bar for happy hour. Our favorite dish is the Cajun Mac n cheese. Our group couldn’t stop raving about it. Second is the chicken and waffle. Sweet and spicy, so good. Happy hour drinks are poured well and a great price. Street view rooms can be a bit noisy at 2-3am, but we got to see some of the parades and marches that came through from our balcony. Half of our group thought that made up for the noise at night and half did not. So next time we will probably get one street facing room and one not.

Loved this gem of a hotel! There was a cafe and restaurant on site, and the food was wonderful. We had a balcony room facing the street so were able to people watch, and then went to the courtyard that gave the feeling of being in a peaceful tropical paradise with only the sound of the water in the fountain. We were afraid the noisy street would keep us up at night, but could only hear the garbage truck and super loud motorcycle--well insulated rooms! Staff was excellent, room and hotel were clean and classy!

Great location for a few days in New Orleans. 2 minute walk to Bourbon St and Toulouse but no noise at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the small pool in the courtyard perfect to cool off after a day touring the sites.

Loved the property and staff were very friendly and helpful in giving recommendations! Only bad thing we experienced was very early and loud trash pick up (though this was not the hotel's fault). The rooms were beautiful with great views and very safe with the required card swipe after 10 pm.

Great pool and patio - the room was really cool and super clean. I was on ground floor and the door had a window looking onto the outdoor patio. The valet was super nice and helpful.

I stayed for 4 nights and will stay again at this hotel in July if there is room. I had a balcony viewing the street and it was lovely. It was a little noisy over the weekend due to Bourbon Street but a great location. The staff, especially Joseph, were so very helpful and polite. My traveling companion was in a wheelchair and Joseph opened doors for us, helped with the luggage and even asked if I wanted him to pick up my food order and take it to the pool area where we were seated. Hopefully I can stay at Hotel Marie July 1 through July 5 2024. Thank you for making my trip to NOLA wonderful.

Honestly such a great spot. The staff was amazing. Super friendly front desk, the bartenders were awesome as well. The hotel was quiet too, considering it’s just off of bourbon st and we were there for jazzfest, so it was a crowded time to be in the area. Location was excellent as well and could walk to so many places. Oh and the food too at the restaurant was amazing! I feel like I stumbled on a total gem with this hotel find. Room itself wasn’t anything crazy, but I wasn’t there to stay in my room so if you’re looking for a cozy spot to land after roaming around, this is the spot.

This hotel is just around the corner from Bourbon Street. Very convenient. The whole area is a bit dirty with all the partiers that are around. But this hotel does a good job considering.

All the other great reviews are true. Staff is terrific, hotel is two or three blocks from Bourbon Street, Canal, Rampart, but on a very quiet couple of blocks. The restaurant food and the bar is very good, and a great coffee breakfast/sandwich shop attached. Very clean rooms and hotel space. In all a great find.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely some of the most friendly, outstanding people I have ever come across in my travels. The hotel was close to Bourbon street and everything else was within walking distance. My greatest appreciation to Hotel St. Marie for making this a very memorable time.

I've stayed here a few times. Great location. Quaint hotel. Beautiful courtyard. Bar with a good happy hour. The shower water pressure was fantastic! If I had one complaint I had a street view balcony that I was very excited about but when it got dark these very bright lights came on. Not relaxing at all. No way to turn them off. So I fiigured out to just sit with my back to the lights

The staff at the front desk were very accommodating. Always kind and cheerful. The staff in the bar refused to serve me and told me to go to the snack bar to get a grilled cheese. The sandwich was clearly on the menu and serving until 11pm, I was there at 6:45pm. I went into the snack bar area and waited. A tall bald - white man approx. 6'4 225lbs said come over here to order, not particularly pleasant, zero customer service qualities, I asked him for a grilled cheese sandwich, again on the menu, he said "we're closed!" It was 6:50 pm. Again hours posted for the bar were until 11pm, the snack area 7pm. The bar was full of people eating and ordering food, drinking and enjoying their dinners. I spent a great deal of money in New Orleans in the 5 days I was there, I tip very well because I am in the business. I in no-way understood what could have prompted such rude behavior unless it was because I am of Hispanic heritage. I am very light skinned. I am always kind, caring and compassionate to all humans around me. This behavior from the restaurant Vacherie has me leaving an unkind write up about staff in the restaurant area who clearly need to be coached and retrained as to proper customer service for all. Oh, I do have pictures of the menu stating the times of service and food available. I would recommend The Oyster bar on Bourbon street to anyone who would like to walk a couple of blocks for the best grilled oysters and BBQ shrimp I have ever had.

Location was very convenient for the French Quarter. Property was quiet and comfortable. Although expensive anywhere in the French Quarter, it was good to have parking available.
