Great location and beautiful condo but trouble communicating with the owner.
The condo was exactly as described online. The location is great--in the Wintergreen Resort with a beautiful view into the valley. The condo was clean and the kitchen was stocked with the dishes and cooking utensils and cookware that we needed. There is a lockbox with a code, which made for an easy check-in and check-out experience. However, I had a really difficult time communicating with the owner. We were able to extend our vacation by an additional day, so I wrote and asked if they had availability for that additional night and if we could extend for that date. It took several days before I got a response, and then it was not very clear. After several messages back and forth, I was finally able to book the additional night. However, I was not billed for it, so I had to write to them again and ask how they wanted me to pay for the additional night. That took another couple of days before I got a response. The condo is great, but we would not book with them again, due to the hassle of communication with the owner.

We enjoyed our stay at your condo, especially the view. Just wanted to let you know that the remote for the dvd player needs batteries and the coffee maker didn’t work properly. The coffee didn’t flow out right and it overflowed. Other than that, everything was as described. We hope to stay at your beautiful condo again.

Only negative was that the tv cable went out on day two. Wifi was still available and so we were able to stream on our laptops Not a deal breaker because we weren't there to watch tv.

Stunning!
I truly adore this condo and the experience we had exploring the area. I brought my daughter for a sweet 16 trip to go hiking and antiquing with her friends. The condo had everything we needed for cooking and dining as well as provided us a place to relax, be “girls” and to stay cozy and warm by the fire on a cold windy day. I love the art in the condo as I have matching art interests and my daughter is an up and coming artist. The sunrise here put on a show for us on the first day and was so spectacular and breathtaking; Better than any overlook you could drive to! Blue Ridge parkway and hiking are only about 15-20 mins away. There is also hiking within wintergreen, but opted for a more intense hike in the blue ridge. Market closes early, so make sure you bring everything you need or it’s a bit of a drive to a grocery. Can’t use the indoor pool at the resort, but that’s ok, there’s a spa tub. I’d suggest bringing some dry firewood as the wood in the closet was a little damp from recent rains and that’s the worst to work with. The spa bathtub was the 2nd best part after a long day hiking (or skiing if you’re visiting for the slopes) to soak in that tub is amazing! I can’t wait to return, perhaps for a romantic, solo, or ski get away! Thank you!

The property was fantastic. It has a million-dollar view. The Jetta tub was awesome. my wife already misses the wood fireplace. our stay felt like home away from home but with all the extra stuff.

Ski and Anniversary get away.
Second time there, beautiful views, easy check in and both times we didn't have neighborhood noise. If you're looking for a nice overlook of the ski slopes and a quick drive to the lodge and ski access, thia is your place. The jacuzzi tub help with the sore muscles after a fun day of skiing. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, clean, spacious, with a lot of light and the best stunning views! However, the master bedroom/bathroom was very cold like a fridge with a draft, although I set the room regulator to 78 to warm it up - it never did. I used all 4 thin blankets that were in the room. Second night I could not do it anymore and just slept in the living room on the couch since the living room and rest of the house was quite warm. We were able to open the key box next to the entrance door, but no key inside. We used the code instead. The drape on the balcony window is ripped off the ceiling and hanging on the floor. The hallway sink drains very poorly and gets filled up and the bathroom door gets stuck and jammed. scribble scrubbled notes around the house and in the guest book. The note about taking my trash out was quite surprising. Found it by accident in the guest book among random notes stating we would be charged $25 if we leave the trash. Yes, we took the trash out for you, but I have to let you know that the big container we found outside was locked with a chain, so yes, we left the trash by the container, since I did not want to risk that extra charge! On the other side, I had no issue washing my dishes and leaving theplace in an order, as we did, however, we as guests get already charged the clean up fee, so why do I have to take the trash out and struggle with a container outside? Sent an email 3x to the owner to get a response prior visit.

Great stay with a few issues
This was an amazing stay and a great facility. Our only complaint was the hardware to poke the fire seems to be broken (poker) and kept falling off when using. Other than that we had zero complaints. Great time!

We go to Wintergreen 2-3 times a year and we have stayed at a number of condos, this may be the nicest one yet. Condo was "as advertised", communication with the owner was great, no complaints.

We had to buy our firewood.no spice in spice rack. Coffee machine lid broke and old. tstr very dirty and old. Hand written notes through out condo. Most of all, the front door latch was rigged with tape to be able to close and latch shut. Will never go back.found out the last day that wood was kept n closet outside!! NOT IN PARKING LOT LIKE WE WERE TOLD!!!

Spectacular Views
I was very pleased with the condo and the mountain, valley and ski slope views. The unit was clean and very spacious. The only upgrades that are needed dining room chairs, sofa & tv’s. The breaker for the hot water heater was not on so we ran out of hot water during checkout. Bathroom and bedroom door not swinging and closing properly. Fix these things and I would easily give 5 stars. See you next year.

My wife Teresa and I have been staying here for 9 years every year during the late fall season we come here for a week. For the price it can not be beat. It is easy to get to the door from the parking lot (not a lot of steps). Most of the condos up on the ridge have a lot of steps or a long walkway or both to get to the condo door. I don't about you but I aint that young anymore! THE VIEW. The view off of the second story balcony is amazing. Sunrises in the morning are incredible. There is often times a cloud cover over the valley off in the distance and with the sun coming up over the distant mountains it looks almost heavenly. The ground area below and the drop off below at times will have wildlife running around. It doesn't happen a whole lot but deer graze occasionally below. Lately there has been a resident groundhog and a few chipmunks call the ground below home. The jaquzzi is nice to get in after dinner as well. One of my wife's favorites. The cleaning crew does an awesome job as well. Every time we walk in for the first time it is very clean. This is a big deal for my wife and something she really appreciates. There are many nature trails near by as well or if a more moderate walk/hike is more your speed, there is a path walkway across the street that goes around the golf course hole across the street. This condo is close to eateries and activities so it if you are active it would likely be a good fit for you and your partner/family. Highly recommend!

It was extremely peaceful here. The rental had a wonderful bank of windows to enjoy the scenery. Nice deck too. Very cozy. The directions to the property and for the check-in process were easy to follow. Many well maintained trails were located within walking distance of the property. Countless dining options on site as well. Staff at the Mountain Inn where we stopped for a map were all extremely friendly.

The location of this Condo in Wintergreen is fantastic and it is a very nice size for a 2 bedroom condo. We definatly enjoyed the bunnies, chipmonk, racoons and especially the birding. Lots of summertime birds including indigo buntings and scarlet tanagers, to name just a few. The dining room chairs were not well padded and not comfortable and the condo needs a little TLC to bring it back up to top condition. The towels and sheets were all brand new and the condo was quiet. We were there for the 4th of July and were able to watch the fireworks and listen to the concerts from our balcony. This is a 6 unit building and we only had 4 nights with people in one of the other units in the building besides us. Very private. Only real negative is there is no electric car charging available and the condo association left me threatening notes written on paper bags to pursue legal recourse if I continued to use their 110 outlet. Electric is the way of the future so they need to get on board if they want to rent to electric car owners. Besides the nasty bit with the homeowners association our stay was very nice.

Wedding stay
We had friends getting married on Friday evening. We checked in just after. 4pm and quickly changed for the wedding. We’re back by 9:30 and slept well. Enjoyed the view while we had coffee in the morning and then we’re out by 11am. Would definitely stay longer next time so we could enjoy the beautiful condo more.

Front condo is all glass so great view. Nice balcony that seats 4 with table. Furnishings a bit worn. Kitchen stocked well except fry pans bad shape. Bring your own paper products, dish soap, dishwasher , shampoo, ect as none are provided. There are several restaurants and a general store in the resort. Easy check in. It’s close to Blue ridge parkway.

What a breathtaking view! We enjoyed everything about this condo....location, layout, view, not many steps. It was clean & had everything we needed to cook on our own. The coffee maker is not k cup so just make sure to bring "regular" coffee, filters were provided. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings. Just make sure to bring matches/lighter. Firewood was supplied in the condo & if you need more, there is a rack of firewood set outside by condos. We did bring a starter log to make it easier. Takes a bit of time for rooms to warm up so just make sure to turn on switch for baseboards in bedrooms when we get there. Hot water wasn't on when we got there due to previous renter turning off breaker (no fault of owner). Warmed up right away as soon as breaker was turned on. We wish we had brought some board games, cards, etc but TV is provided. We are already looking forward to our next stay! Owner was great & quick to respond!
