This is my second time staying at this property. The first time was nothing like this time. I left PISSED off. When we checked in, the first room had a very intense mildew smell as soon as we opened the door. RM 223. There is no way that room was cleaned the same day and they thought it was suitable to place guests in that room. We went downstairs, the desk clerk wanted the manager to check it out first before switching us. We waited about 10 mins to which no one came. So we went back down and insisted we get the new room. Then although I prepaid for the room via hotels.com, minus the amenities hold, they charged my card 2 MORE TIMES. I caught the 1st overpayment the first night. The manager gave no explanation, barely looked up at me but said they’d fix it. The morning of our check out ANOTHER payment showed on my bank statement. The desk clerk told me they couldn’t help me and the manager wouldn’t be in until 12 noon. Check out is at 11 am. I have contacted corporate. Today being a holiday, I didn’t get anyone. The charges are still pending. I will have to contact them again tomorrow.
