We booked this room as it was close to the entrance to the park. We arrived late due to traffic and nobody was working. Called the number of the hotel and was informed that we had to pick up our key at the pin board next to the office. Got our key and walked to room and an overpowering smell of raw sewage came clear to be a problem. When actually got into the room it didn't have a bathroom, as it was shared among 3 rooms and was not clearly listed. It said shared amenities which really meant to be that there were none. The room pictured on Expedia showed cute and cozy cabin feeling. This room was 70s wood paneling with dirty ceilings and flooring that was dirty as well. The TV didn't work, the bedside lamp turned on and wouldn't turn off, the thermostat also wouldn't turn off and stuck on a very high heat level as it was so uncomfortable to get any sleep. The door had a lock on it but a small child could have easily pushed it open when it was locked with no additional deadbolt which felt totally unsafe. No fridge or microwave and the food we brought had gone bad by morning time.
The bathroom had 70 s style bathroom paneling, the vanity as well with an over used sink. The shower had newer tile walls but that too was gross the same as the sink. The door had a lock but it took could have been broken into with ease.
The bathroom floors were wet and dirty as well the entire bathroom smelled of raw sewage.
I will be filling a formal complaint with Expedia.
