"Ernesto and his family obviously have pride of ownership in their quaint B&B. But more than that, they obviously have a deep love for what they do and where they live, and they want everyone to have a meaningful experience. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The rooms were basic, yet met all the needs and were very comfortable. They were surprisingly large and conveniently located to shops, dining, and attractions. "

"Beautiful, faciltiy. We stayed in the Forest Deluxe room which was larger and a bit further back from the road. The grounds are well maintained, the breakfast service was great and the staff was friendly. Just across the street are some decent restaurants and a grocery store. It's a short 2-3 block walk to the town square. "

"Here you are in touch with nature. This was our 2nd visit to Fondavela. If we come back to Monteverde in the future, we will stayed with them for sure. To be honest the restaurant it’s pretty descent but you can find better options outside the hotel. "
