This hotel would have been perfect if they would have checked the entire room to make sure it was clean. There was mouse poop on the bed. I was really looking forward to this stay as they have one of the best views in town.

There were no hand towels provided or hand soap. There was an empty can of beer and a glass with some liquid. The next day, hand soap was provided.

Maybe 20 years ago this place was beautiful. Time has taken its toll on this mountain retreat. It just wasn’t for me.

This hotel has great food, amazing views and awesome hospitality. It takes a while to get up the mountain, however, it was worth the wait! The staff is friendly. They don’t speak English at all though, it was a good thing I came with my Hispanic friends. Overall 10/10!

Very relaxing Hotel, beautiful views of the mountains, we got to see a bear and other animals. Breakfast buffet was delicious and so many options to pick from. Cajeta empanadas were out of this world!

Great place. Because is a oldish place and cabin oriented you might find “foresty” ambient, dirt, bugs… But generally speaking a great place, clean towels and bedding

the hotel check-in was fast and the girl was very friendly, the same was the security guard at the entrance of the property, but the food in the restaurant was not good and the service of the waiters terrible (I felt that we were being served reluctantly) a bear appeared in the middle of breakfast (he didn't attack anyone) he kept walking and headed towards the parking area directly towards a truck and it turns out that they had many garbage bags and there was the poor bear eating food waste, the pool was ok ,the viewpoints had a very nice view.

The idea of staying in a castle... and this hotel REALLy feels like a Mediecal castle, is a dream for every kid. Our three and half girl has stayed here 3 times ... we will repeat it soon! The negative side of this trip was: We had sent repetitive messages stating that we would arrive between 11 PM and midnight. When we arrived there was NO RECEPTIONIST! The poorly-paid night guard had no balance on his cell phone and could not even make a call to the manager. He opened for us FOUR rooms that appeared to be available. The first two WERE OCCUPIED and we embarrased the guests staying in them. The third was a single King bed and we needed two queen beds. We succeeded on the fourth room. Next day, you would have expected an apology from management. NOT in this case! This happened because of poor management. A receptionist should NEVER leave before his/her replacement arrives. That IS a management FAILURE!

A Jewel in Monterrey, worth the distance!
A very nice experience, there was fog in our way up but it worth the way, room clean and comfy, warm bc outside very cold this days, restaurant tasty and nice view, would come again and bring friends and family!

It was very peaceful with beautiful views of the city especially at night. It was a little hard for me to find my room even with the map provided. I suggest not arriving after dark.
