“No Problem Mon”
It was a wonderful hotel and a great vacation!
“Loved it and going back!”
My husband and I went there for our 16th anniversary. The resort is absolutely gorgeous! I don't know what all those complaining reviews were talking about as we did not encounter any major issues. The bed was not hard, but the pillows were. The in-room jacuzzi tub was awesome and room size was very spacious. Our room was always the last one to be cleaned in the building so we just asked for clean towels and more stock for the mini bar. By the way, the mini bar consists of a small refrigerator that is really a cooler and had 2 beers, 2 waters, 1 coke, 1 orange soda and 1 sprite. We didn't have time to venture off the resort, but there was so much for us to do right there! It rained everyday, but we were early risers so we packed alot into the mornings and evenings. The only downside was our room ceiling started leaking our last night there and we had to walk a great deal because our room was at the farthest end of the resort. We are walkers anyway so it kept us from gaining too much weight from all the food and drinks we enjoyed. Loved the buffets, but both restaurants (Poseidon Sunset and Bubba's) we had a la carte meals were just average. The resort is mostly open air so be prepared to not have alot of air conditioned spaces. We ran around in our swimsuits most of the day and cool cotton clothes in the evening. All in all, a great price for all that was included!!
“Beautiful resort”
What a beautiful resort. We stayed the week of Valentines day and what a wonderful experience. I can not say enough about the wonderful people in Jamaica. We have stayed at Costa Rica, Mexico, Bahamas, Hawaii, Key West, California etc. and in all our travels this resort had everything a person could ask for. We can't wait to go back . This is our first visit to Jamaica but it won't be the last. It is full day trips to go to Bob Marley or Dunns River Falls but so worth it. You are only 35 minutes from Negril-Have to go to Margaritya Ville. The beach is spectacular and so are the drinks. The food at the hotel was amazing, to bad we didn't have enough time to try all of the restaurants. There is always food/drinks available 24 hours a day. At this hotel you can be as busy as you want or just relax. there is room everywhere to relax whether it be at the beaches or pools. Don't get me started about the SPA. What a wonderful experience. the only downside I had would be that we could not change our US$ Travellor cheques for US$ at the hotel. They would only change them into jamaican $. Best just to bring CASH. We will for sure be going back Can't wait.
“A vacation to remember”
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Grand Palladium. After being overwhelmed the first night by the size of the resort, we eventually settled in comfortably. We were satisfied with all of our meals, we tried most of the restaurants. The shows were entertaining. The bands at the Infinity Bar were very good, we enjoyed them all. Most of our waiters and bartenders were very pleasant and courteous. Although our side of the resort had the "rocky" beach, we were able to go to the other end and experience a nice time at the beach. Our rooms were comfortable and for the most part clean. Our only negative comments would be the sofa material was dirty, wall in bathroom marked, sliding door hard to open and screen torn, and rubber on showerhead loose so the water sprayed in some unusual directions but was easily fixed when needed. However, none of the negatives were enough to ruin our vacation, they were merely aesthetic things. We would definitely like to return and have recommended this resort to family and friends!!
“Loveddddddddddd it!!!!!!!!”
I wished I lived there
“You just can't please some people”
My wife and I just returned two days ago from a week-long stay, and we had an amazing time. The staff was extremely amiable, courteous, and service-oriented. This was the best all-inclusive resort in which we have stayed (third overall, first in Jamaica). Having read the reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect since they are favorable overall with a few naysayers mixed in. About the naysayers I would say this: you just can't please some people. I feel sorry for anyone who could travel to the Grand Palladium and not have a blast in the expansive main pool, one of the other three pools, or at one of the four beaches. There were constantly a variety of activities going on throughout the day and night to suit anyone's preferences. The food was also good for an all-inclusive, especially the jerk chicken at the hut on the Sunset Cove beach. Speaking of the Sunset Cove beach, some of the reviewers who have posted complaints about the rocky beaches clearly did not explore the Grand Palladium thoroughly enough; anyone who says that all of the beaches were rocky obviously did not make it out to Sunset Cove where the soft sand continued out into the swimming areas. While the other beaches were rocky and were best suited for strolling and taking in the beauty of the Jamaican coast, Sunset Cove was the best beach of any resort where I've stayed. In fact, I would rank it third overall in all of my travels (behind Negril's Seven Mile Beach (a must see) and one in Roatan, Hondurus). Yeah mon!
“angela”
structure of the hotel is magnificent. Staff extremly friendly and nice they go above and beyond to make you feel good. A large variety of food some excellent , some salty and some of the juice can be too sweet at times. 2 beaches to the hotel , the Jamaica side beach is not good, but the pool is superb it makes up for it. The ladyHamilton side is great . Lots of activities for everyone. Bring your own wash cloth as back up,slow service with that. I love and I highly recommend it.. You can more than your money worth.
“Nice upgrade to a full suite”
Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Complimentary upgrade to a full suite.
“Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton”
This resort ROCKS! The main pool and the restaurants make it all worth while. And the entertainment goes way above & beyond the expectations. I will never stay anywhere else in Jamaica.
