Perfect Stay
We loved Hotel Chambord! Great location! Parking garage was a big bonus. Our room was spacious and cleaned meticulously every day. What was most special about this hotel were the people working at the front desk. They were informative and friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in Menton.

The bed was very comfortable, the room very spacious and well decorated and the shower was great. Staff were very friendly. However, the temperature of the building was way too hot - we turned air con off in our room immediately (as it did not run cold, only hot) and kept windows open our whole stay despite it being January. As a result, it was very noisy from the street below except between 11pm and 5am.

Nice hotel but some improvements could be made.
The hotel looks newly refurbished and it was nice and clean. Rooms are pretty basic (no more superior than any Premier Inn I have stayed in). There is a fridge in the room which was empty (would have been nice to have some complementary water). There was no kettle/tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom is nice however the walk in shower has the shower set in the wrong place. During a shower all the water sprays out onto to floor leaving a big puddle to wade through and clean up afterwards. Our stay was okay but nothing special. Just to note that if you don't book the most expensive room, you will get a room at the back of the hotel. I booked a superior room and had a mountain view.

We booked at short notice as we were in Menton for a funeral. The Chambord was extremely comfortable and very good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. I hope to return one day.

Marvellous Menton. Queen Victoria enjoyed her stay
Voting the coastal area of southern France. Menton is a very pleasant town to visit. Not quite the hustle and bustle of Nice and just as enjoyable. Easy to get around on foot.

The hotel is nice. Looks just like the photos. Close to the sea front. Wifi is slow but you can tap into next doors and there's is so much quicker Would stay again if I was to return to Menton

The hotel room was clean, spacious though a little out dated. However the parking was very, very tight, so much so scratching of a car is nearly inevitable!

Hotel Chamboard- well place in central Menton
Nice small hotel- situated close to bus, train, shops, restaurants, bars and beach- perfect for a short break etc. Friendly staff with clean premises- facilities are good for a 3* hotel. Would recommend. Great town and central for trips to Nice, Monaco, Milan etc. By bus/train about 1 hour from Nice airport- about 40 mins by car

Great location
Welcoming, helpful, convenient for the station, the shops, the beach and the old town. Quiet at night, calm during the day. Stepping out onto the gardens is a pleasure every time. Air conditioned of course. It's worth going for the breakfast, even though it's extra. Lack of restaurant a bit of a problem but there's lots of choice nearby. The Tourist Information Office is practically next door. If you need it the nearest Launderette is at the square near the Mairie.

Center of the city, good hotel
Hotel was littlebit old but the maintenance was good. The location was perfect because it was walking distance to everywhere to the beach and to the Monton main area. Overall it was good stay with good price.

Perfect festival location
A good hotel for visiting Menton in the holiday season as all rooms overlook the beautiful Jardin Bioves. The rather dated hotel décor and facilities are currently being upgraded (February 2014) which will make this hotel a perfect choice.

Location was great. 5 minutes from the beach and center of town. Staff was friendly. Also close to train station to get to Nice and Monaco. Room was nothing fancy. Definitely not 3 stars, but it was a bed and a bathroom. Nothing more.

The building was clean and nice. The staffs were very kind and helpful. The location of the hotel was very good, near fron the SNCF station and near to tourist area. pedestrian zone was very good for tourists. And we could recognize that the hotel is consious to operate a cpncomfortable and safe resort city. I would like to visit again.
