"We have just returned from a lovely two night stay in Dunkeld. There was five adults staying at the property and it was so warm, clean and inviting. We stayed very warm (given the outside temperatures down to 2 degrees) around the wood fire and the multiple panel heaters kept the entire house warm. "We really enjoyed our stay - it's a great place to decompress. It's so peaceful and has spectacular views. "This a unique property, very cosy and peaceful. It was exactly as advertised and very charming with a well presented modern attached bathroom. Karen was a really helpful host and the location for us was great especially as Karen gave us so much advice and assistance to plan our day in the Grampians. "Unfortunately, our one-night stay in the cabin was far from satisfactory. The aging furnishings and worn-out mattress left us with backaches, and the overall state of disrepair in the cabin, reminiscent of the 80s, was disappointing. The poorly kept grounds and lack of phone service only added to the inconvenience. Improvement is desperately needed for a more enjoyable stay Additionally, despite our concerns, we're still awaiting a refund from Expedia for our disappointing experience. It's frustrating to encounter both subpar accommodations and delays in reimbursement. We hope for a swift resolution to this matter. "
