Easy access from the freeway but the room had not been cleaned. Couldn't get a hold of staff and were in a hurry to just dealt with it. Tried to iron a shirt but the iron didn't work. Asked the night staff for a new iron and was told there weren't any. Tried again in the morning and the young lady from the front desk brought one to us in a couple of minutes.

I apologize for the inconvenience the overnight employee was being passive aggressive and intentionally behaving in an improper manner, he has since moved out of town and quit the employmentwhen we asked the person about this and a couple of other situations.

Arrived to no one at front desk, rang the bell and had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come help us. Room was super hot, even after we turned heat off and open the windows to cool off, once closed the room proceeded to go back to very hot Keys stopped working twice during our 2 night stay, we left a day early, even tho they refused to give us a refund for the last day, we couldnt have stayed But worst of all, was waking up the first morning to discover our white duvet with yellow stains and dry blood stains (i took pictures) when i let the hotel staff know, they seemed not concerned and said theyd ask for a complete bed change but that the hotel policy was not to change the duvets between customers! We were appalled and disgusted! Left a day early and went to a different hotel room, i ask if i could get my money back for that last night and they said no

I apologize for the inconvenience. A quick call would help me understand the situation a little better. The keys can stop working if they are stored next to a magnetic source like a phone or tv speaker etc. We have a contract with Expedia we cannot process the refund for leaving early as we have not charged your credit card, Expedia charges you deducts their commission and pays us with a single use Credit card, therefore we cannot refund what we did not charge. We only charge Expedia. Lastly I am not very sure if your duvet had any blood stains it will more likely be coffee if it was sheet or matteress then in all probability it will blood, regardless it should not have been there. I am glad it was resolved while you were there.

The manager I interacted with was not very kind. I arrived to check in and pay since I was with a group and using a company card. I found out when I got to the desk that they had already charged my personal credit card and maxed it out before I had even arrived "because it was the one on file". The male manager interrupted me several times and was very rude about the whole process. Then when checking out, they could not find a record of us paying for one room- even though I had the printed receipts- and attempted to charge me for the room again. The check in process took 1 hour and the check out took at least 30 minutes.

I do apologize for the inconvenience. Like I already explained to you at check in that we do charge the cards on the day of arrival. It took longer as you had 8 rooms and you did want to swap out out the Credit Card which you did not have in your possession and the person from your college had neglected to call with the number. That is why it took longer than usual for your check-in. In all honesty we do require the card to be physically available or a proper credit card written authorization is required. I once again apologize for the inconvenience. I did find the issue with one of your rooms missing from your all your receipts have been emailed to the email you gave us. Thank you

Last minute booking not so good
Check in was fast as I had prepaid online. We unloaded our car and went to the concert. We got back late and realized there was not a microwave in the room so I went to the front desk and asked the clerk if I could use their microwave. She opened the breakfast room up for me so I could warm up our supper. She was very nice and did, Thank you. We ate and went to bed exhausted. When we woke up I went to take a shower, I turned on the light and the bathroom was filthy. The toilet had brown sediments in the bowl like it had not been cleaned in months, dried urine under the seat, and the tub was full of hair. When I started to look around the room it had not been cleaned prior to us staying there. I told the girl at the front desk and she acted like that was not the first time that has happened there. She apologized and gave me her managers card.

As you informed me that you are dealing directly with Expedia and corporate I would let them handle this issue. Lastly,I was quite amazed at your etiquette of conversation, you literally hung up the phone on my face which actually gave me an insight into the legitimacy of this complaint. At this point I can only apologize once again.

It’s Where We Stay When We Come to Minneapolis
The staff is unbeatable. The location is terrific for folks coming from the west on 94. 30 minutes to downtown Minneapolis, MOA, Airport, etc. The hotel has been here for years. Wyndham has just acquired Americ-Inn and will need to continue to invest in upkeep: updating mattresses, etc. I love the staff.

The chair was dirty, carpet was stained, the bed skirt had something on it. The room had a smell and was stuffy. The bathroom could use an overhall. Not the worst i ever stayed but was disappointed that it wasnt exactly cheap either.

Graduation Trip
The outside of the hotel appears very old and rundown. No signage outside to inform guests of where the lobby was. The inside of the hotel was clean. The room was nice but could also use some updating. The pool is small; however from 10pm-12pm no kids allowed. Other times of the day the pool was overcrowded. Continental breakfast was good. Breakfast included biscuits and gravy, eggs, make your own waffles, etc. Location is good.

The room had a damp unpleasant smell. Turned the air conditioning unit up in hopes of cooling the room and reducing the humidity. Despite the relatively cool air temperature outside, the room didn't cool and the humidity in the room didn't get better. There were visible mildew stains on the grout between tiles in the shower, a stain on the 1st washclothe almost used by one of my kids, lipstick on the hair dryer handle, and a dirty handprint on the wall. Key card didn’t work for the pool at times.

One of the beds in the room was dirty, we had to get new bedding. The thermostat in our room was not working properly so it was either to stuffy or to cold. The pool was filthy and had way to much chlorine or salt or something in it. Breakfast was crowded and had to wait for many items to be restocked. Overall it was not a good hotel experience and I would not go back!

The staff is very rude if there are any issues. Our two rooms were never cleaned and we kept getting told it was our fault. They told us we must have had a sign up when they didnt or that if there was stuff by the bed they won't clean it. We just wanted our towels replaced and they never did for either room.

We checked in at 5 but had to leave right away so we didn’t get a chance to check out our room. When we returned at 9pm, we went in the room and found it was never cleaned from night before. We told front desk and she apologized and said she will up grade to jacuzzi suite. Thought that was nice. However when we ran the water in the jacuzzi , it turned a dark yellow which appeared to be from either water itself or the dirtiness of tub. We also noticed what appeared to be mold above the jacuzzi on the ceiling tiles. When we checked out we informed the person behind the desk. She said it could be the water wasn’t run for awhile. I told her I didn’t think so when the water was let out, the bottom part of the tub looked whiter. She didn’t apologize. I wish I had taken pictures so I could post them. We won’t be back to that AmericInn.

You Get What You Pay For! Cheap!
This is one of the if not the dirtiest hotels we had ever stayed in. We booked this room back in March of 2017 for the 2018 Super Bowl. We beat the price hike of the super bowl so the price for the room was cheap. When we arrived the front desk lady was in the back room so we had to page her and when she came to the desk she looked like she just woke up from a nap. Our first room smelt like locker room sweat and was dirty with dust all over everything and also had human scabs on the desk and furniture. They did allow us to switch rooms. The second room was not as smelly but still dirty. The shower head leaked and sprayed water all over the bathroom, there was rust on the bathroom ceiling and the heater/ AC never kept a constant temperature and the carpet was in really bad shape. The pool lighting was very dark and the hot tub was colder than the pool. The continental breakfast was the same all three days, cold eggs and cold sausage. The wi-fi also kept logging in and out of service. If not for the price hike of Hotels for the the super bowl, we would have got our money back and found a different hotel immediately.

I apologize for the inconvenience. We are investigating the issues encountered during your stay. Being a small property the Front Desk does not stay constantly at the desk they are assigned other tasks which they have to complete therefore we have a pager at the desk. As per the brand standard we are required to serve a meat and egg, as far as the temperature goes no issues were reported. We maintain a log of Pool and Hot Tub Temperature and the temperature was being maintained at 102F. For wi-fi - the guest devices are setup to logout after continuous 6hours of usage so as to not "choke" the channels and clear the cache.

Dirty Rooms Keep Looking
I found a half full carton of milk from before Christmas (at least 3 weeks old) under one bed. I also found numerous cigarette buts in the room, which was supposed to be a non-smoking room. I made a complaint to the front desk, but nothing was done about it- not even a new room. I expected a cleaner room for a hotel that charges over a hundred a night. I would have been better off at a Motel 6. I would never stay at this hotel again. They didn't even provide a refrigerator, microwave or a do not disturb sign. Other guests resorted to putting socks on their door knobs in leu of a do not disturb sign.
