“Beautiful but pricey”

Beautiful place but nothing around. Very expensive area! Mall is filled with high end stores so we didnt buy much. Be prepared to tip a lot. I was even charged gratuity on a box of laundry soap that was already in my room

“'ocean view'”

What is advertised as 'ocean view" is a 'partial side ocean view'. I spoke with the front desk and was informed that the hotel has 25 types of rooms. Only two types (of the lower-end types) are made available to Expedia, including the 'ocean view' (='partial ocean view'). I explained that it would be good if the product listed on Expedia was indeed listed as 'partial ocean view' to avoid disappointment among other future clients. Front desk person indicated that she would make a notation but that this was above her pay grade. The rest of the stay was pretty good but of course could not be great since things got started on the wrong foot. Check in time is a bit late (4 PM). Check out time is a bit early (11 AM).

“Good hotel! I recommend.”

Hotel facing the sea, with beautiful view including the back room. Located near the Aventura Mall and Bal Harbour Mall (also close to other stores Best Buy, Sports Authority, Target - all on Biscayne Blvd). The service is very good, as the rooms. However, there are no options of good restaurants nearby and parking is expensive for the location.

“It was OK”

This was our 2nd visit to the Trump Beach Resort, and a much different experience from our 1st. On arrival we discovered that the main restaurant on the lobby level was being renovated, entire area cordoned off, so breakfast was served in one of the conference rooms, we did not bother with other meals. The main upper pool was not open, due to a leak. Our room was comfortable, but was showing signs of wear and tear, toilet paper holder bust, furniture scratched & de-laminated at edges. Staff as always was excellent and tried their best to overcome the maintenance issues.

Area recommendations

Sunny Isles Beach is an upscale area, with excellent beaches to relax on, the Aventura Mall just down the road, and good restaurants up and down the main thoroughfare. Good area for taking long leisurely strolls, or relaxing on the beach.

“Lovely experience”

Nice room. Possibly the most comfortable bedding I have used. Lovely pools and amenities leading straight on to the beach. Very courteous and helphful staff throughout the resort. A very enjoyable stay.

“Not realy impressed”

“Expected better”

Nice large rooms with fantastic views. Shower was slow to drain, standing in 3 inches of water every time. Microwave started beeping some error code, maintenance came and unplugged but never replaced it. Renovation during stay so out door restaurant was closed and constant construction noise in lobby and 2nd floor to pool and spa. Surrounding area has many food choices.
