The general area is good. But the building needs to be updated. The worse parts are the beds. Those are antique pieces and must give away if there are any collectors for last century items. It has heavy metal springs which can poke on any one who laying on it, will hurts badly.

Stafff was extremely inappropriate in the way that they spoke . Very unprofessional and rude.. the room ac was not working for the duration of the trip and the staff refused to change the room because they were “booked out”

The property looks nothing like the pictures, pool area wasn’t cleanly drains broken over flowing, ripped cabana seats, the south beach portion of the hotel is like an abandon building NO HOSPITALITY room and they make no accommodations for early or late arrivals/departures. The golf cart ride for 1 mile is not true they took it away. Beach is only 2 chairs per room, even if your room sleeps 4 you have to pay extra per chair and no umbrella. The only good thing I can say is the beach workers were so nice and helpful and the restaurant at Boulan the connecting hotel was Decent. The rooms don’t go below 74 degrees you can’t change the temp either. The showers leak terrible all over bathroom floor. No late or early check ins, basically avoid this hotel if you can. I wish I could get partial refund that’s how I displeased I was with it.

The hotel was very close to the beach and the pool was very nice . I didn’t like the fact there was no microwave nowhere in the building (according to staff ) it becomes inconvenient specially for those with babies . The parking was also a little bit of a walk from the hotel (under the sun can be annoying) . It will be ideal to have a direct entrance to the parking lot . This parking lot also didn’t have elevators only stairs not great to those with disabilities. Besides these details the staff was very nice . The rooms very clean and close to the beach and readily accessible.

This hotel room 208 specifically has bedbugs. I provided video proof, photos, etc. in the hotel refuse to do anything about it. They also didn’t reply to my issue until four days later. Will never go back to not only this hotel but south beach. Because of this experience. This place has bedbugs do not stay here. Worst worst was when I woke my daughter up because I saw a big buck on the pillow one was right underneath of her and ran as soon as she got up. Absolutely horrible and horrifying..

They need new mattresses and better quality tv. The remote confrol old fashion, the flat screen too small. I hope they refurbish and take care of the mattresses. One cannot charge to rooms unless included in the price but at the bar it was ok.

The property was under construction for renovation. Workers came on site at 4:30 am and were talking loudly and banging their tools. No free coffee and parking was $40 a day.

Stay away from this hotel . Worse experience ever.We booked this hotel for five days. Our flight was delayed we came around midnight to check in . Hotel had no reception until 7am next day . Door was locked , no one answered the phone , line was busy .And unattended !!!!!!!! I can only imagine if something happened or if someone needed help in the middle of the night!!!!!We had two choices stay on the street until 7 am or find the room to sleep!!!!! Unacceptable !!!!!!. Which cost us duble 1am !!!! Plus parking extra !!!! I’m still waiting for the refund !!!!!

Great location for the beach, nightlife and public transport around the city. Friendly staff. Beautiful Art Deco hotel but a little tired on the inside and showing its age. We had some damp salts penetrating the walls so the room smelt damp. Coffee pods are chargeable and had been included everywhere else we stayed. The chairs were very worn and taped up with Scotch tape. The hot tub was over chlorinated but hopefully that was a one-off! Rooftop pool was lovely with bar, great sun loungers and beds.

This is my second time that I stay at this place and I feel like everything gets better than the first time . We had a cold night and we wished to be able to turn on the heat in the room but there was not such a option. We survived tho. Other way everything was excellent

The property is not the same as pictured, the room smelled like mildew, the room were much smaller then pictured. The pool area was not kept well, the pillows were stained, the pool water was spilling out of the pool which made the floor wet and unsafe. Repairs are needed.

The place is no what you see in the photos is the hotel beside , the room was clean but the AC horrible no cooling enough, but the really worse part and be ready if you book here is the parking they don’t have parking what they offer you is public parking on the other block for 40 dollars at day if you have any disability please don’t book here they will give your spot on the last floor wish 5th and they don’t have elevator so every time you go out you need to walk up and down be aware of this

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The only negative was the A/C wouldn’t go lower than 72 F and the mattress was close to its final days. That is honestly my only complaint. Room was clean, staff was fantastic, loved the beach access and the rooftop pool.

I would say the only thing I liked was the location and the amenities on the beach. The property looked nothing like the pictures. I got the impression The hotel is actually just a place for surplus guests when the actual hotel which is Boulan doesn’t have room. The rooms are very dated and there was renovations happening. The pics you see on their sight is actually for the other hotel. The one pic with the pink couches doesn’t even exist. I felt like I was being tricked. Also they charge extra for cleaning services everyday which is usually part of the daily charge.

The pictures on the website did not match the actual South Beach hotel. Our room was out dated and the beds were very springy and uncomfortable. We stayed at South Beach not knowing the its affliated with Boulan hotel which is next door and where the pool...restaurant..check-in reception etc all took place there and where the pictures on the website are from .... The positive side was the staff was nice and the location other than that the photos on the website for South Beach hotel was very misleading....

The property location is really good, however the property is really old, smelling old carpet and windows totally dirty. Frustrating!! There was a leek in my room that made all of our clothes wet and not even an offer to switch to another place. The hospitality and customer care was missed unfortunately.

Nail on the coffin was being charged additional $75 for checking out 30 min late. They do a bait and switch on building pictures. Staff was rude at front desk and lobby. Had to switch out of first room because the order of mildew. Hallways and elevator stink.

The staff went out of their way to help. The location was perfect...we could walk to the most emblematic places. anything you could want. Back in Miami Beach we wouldn't stay anywhere else but here.

The pictures on the website do not match the reality. The hotel is very dated, dingy, and smells. It took me days to reach someone to confirm our reservation before arriving. Upon arrival, it was dark with some interesting characters roaming about. After a while, we learned we had to check in at a neighboring hotel and all the amenities listed on the website are located at the hotel next door. They put us (3 young women) in a smelly room that had an adjoining door to two very suspicious and odd-behaving men. They switched our room upon request so we felt safer but it was still subpar. Very disappointed in the very false advertising. Don’t make the same mistake we did. Luckily, we were able to find a new hotel the next day. Vacation saved!

This was the worst experience ever! They assigned me a room outside the normal hotel through a locked gate where no people were. It was isolated and very dirty. Bars on the windows and not even a solid door on the room. I immediately left and would never return. I felt completely unsafe there.
