DO NOT BOOK! 5K dollars in value stolen, my luxury designer brand Chanel sandals, Prada purse, Prada and YSL sunglasses plus cash. I had a terrible experience. This hotel is not safe! Especially for a female staying alone. There are no security cameras. I never felt so violated in my life! I travel around the world and this is the first time this happens to me. I reported it to the hotel manager and security staff they did nothing to help me find my stuff or to get at least some kind of compensation when I showed more than enough proof of what I had in the room. I’m very disappointed and that ruined my vacation. I couldn’t even sleep the rest of my stay I did not feel safe in this hotel they won’t be held responsible for anything.

Staff was excellent. Enjoyed the pool and beach- fairly low key visit during the week which was nice. Room was clean but fairly outdated for an SLS. Also extremely tiny room. Would be tough for 2 people comfortably.

The “luxurious “ villas we stayed in are the rooms above the disco club and the day and night noise from the music is unbearable. It is so loud that it feels like they are in the room. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING AT SLS. Absolutely terrible experience

I do not recommend this hotel. The staff are rude and unaccommodating, the facilities are not up-to-date, and the rooms are extremely small and weathered. This hotel needs a serious upgrade. I would consider this hotel a two star being quite frank, there are much better places to stay on South Beach for a fraction of the cost.

For the price point, there are nicer, cleaner options on South Beach. The hotel has an aroma of mildew and air-freshener. Upon arrival, the building is dimly lit, and it was difficult to find the staff. There are only two elevators servicing 12 floors. The building itself is in need of a renovation, however it seems all they’ve done is paint and put up wallpaper to hide the deteriorating building. The bathroom in the room has eroded mirrors and cracked tiles. The carpeting and furniture in the room all need to be replaced. The SLS is definitely not the worst hotel I’ve ever been to, but I’ve stayed at nicer Marriott’s and Hiltons for this price point. Come here for the parties, don’t come here to stay.

The rooms are a little rundown at this point but reasonable. Food quality at the pool is very basic. Restaurants are better. The staff and the servers makes the place a great experience. Very polite, helpful and accommodating. We enjoy the time, convenience and we’d go back

Air conditioning in room was terrible. It took multiple questions to front staff to understand the rules of the hotel, when beach/pool opened, etc. limited amount of beach chairs available. Wish there was information for guests left in rooms. Pool parties at Hyde were very loud if that’s not your thing and you want to mind your business at the other pool. Heard the party all night from 9th floor hotel room. Rooms were small but I guess ok for the price. Food at hotel was excellent but very expensive.

Great place to stay to walk the boardwalk, to the beach and food! You get chairs at the beach along with food and drinks! Rooms are very small but we knew that! The bed was very comfortable we had a great time! Hotel has an odd smell.

I loved the SLS and will definitely be back! They have a great pool and restaurant. A short walk from the hotel to the beach area where there are lounge chairs and amazing service. That’s is all I wanted a little sun and relaxation and someone to bring me drinks and some lunch. Rooms are a bit small but the bed is very comfortable. Bathrooms could use a bit of a r ovation but loved the mirrors on the ceiling. E wry staff member I came in contact with was pleasant and helpful!! SLS is my new fav Miami Beach Hotel!

Everything about this place was terrible. The building is very rundown, doesn’t feel safe and I was concerned at night since there a lot of noises including few bangs on my door which didn’t make me feel safe. The staff response was very poor at all times. I even tried to cancel since arriving and no answer was ever received. There are a tons of up charges too that were not properly share to start with, so be aware that you’ll be expected to pay more once there. Very much the worst hotel I have ever stayed at
