It wasn't what I expected. The rooms need updating and it's pretty compact from the bedroom to the bathroom. The door wouldn't open all the way. Another door and a hole in it.

We chose this place because it was very close to the beach and was very happy with the location. Not only is the beach directly behind the hotel, there are many restaurant options within walking distance. The room was dated but nice, bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back .

We booked through Expedia a king suite. It was on the top floor rm 407. Room was clean, bed and pillows were very comfortable. Great location on the beach with pool and walking distance to anything you need. Many restaurants, Publix grocery store with a starbucks we flew Frontier air and rented a car from Avis that is four blocks away for a long day trip around Miami and everglades. We felt like we got alot for a good price. The only negetive was that its located in a small stretch of a few blocks on collins ave that is run down a little, some store fronts are closed, although we felt complete safe. This is a city hotel so you do have some homeless people on the steets and there is a certain amount of smokers and people vaping. We had a great nine day spring break here with our teenager

Lobby looks nice but the room are very old and runned down. There is not parking on the property so you have to find a place to park. Staff and location was wonderful.

Love Ana at the front desk. Second time we have stayed at Crystal Beach and will be back a 3rd. Truly is as perfect as can be-people, location, and experience. Thankful for the opportunity to have found the venue.

This was the perfect place for me and my family. Very peaceful with so many options to explore and enjoy. Very easy to find food for every meal. I would recommend it to everyone. I will return on future visits.

Overall good stay. Convenient and right on the beach. Nice big pool. Biggest negative was that the booking of 3 individuals for one room only accounted for 2 people and we had to pay additional for the third person at checkin. Although they charge you for the third person, that didn’t cover a third beach chair on the beach. You have to pay an additional $15 for another chair which is outrageous since they already charged a third person fee.

I loved the location of the property. Right off the beach and the walking path, but also within a couple of blocks of numerous good restaurants, bakeries, grocery, Walgreens, coffee shop. We parked our car and didn’t move it. Parking was very reasonable and not as inconvenient as expected (city parking- not available through hotel). The suite was small but had everything we needed- the separate bedroom from sitting room makes all the difference if you’re an early riser. Towels and beach chairs being provided was an extra benefit. Will return

Location was incredible. Rooms were spacious. We didn’t have a car but everything we needed was a short walk from bar grocery store ihop for breakfast ice cream dinner options. Beach was beautiful. Nice pool area. Would recommend to anybody.

No parking on site but we were able to park in nearby public lots with no issue. Room did smell very strongly of bleach on arrival (some way to air it out would be nice). Pool was closed and it was never communicated in advance (even though details about the pool were sent). Updates in the rooms are a little wonky (so many mirrors) and the kitchen is a little hard to use (dishes and pots/pans inaccessible without climbing the furniture). Otherwise a great place - excellent location, very clean, and the bed was comfy.

Senora Fenny and senor Claudio are outstanding in professionalism ,customer service , and referrals for great places to eat and things to do!!! Great job ! This is my 4th stay in only a couple months. The ENTIRE staff including maintenance and housekeeping(although I haven’t used them) do an excellent job keeping the hotel clean and operational.

Nice location on the beach. Near transportation, shopping, and restaurants. Although the suite is spacious, the bathroom is too small. Walls are not sound proof, we woke up almost every night because of noise from the guests upstairs. Swimming pool was in maintenance, not informed about this on Expedia or by any other communication until we checked in. There is a twenty dollar per day resort fee (not transparent on Expedia either). The most unreasonable fee was the $1 per bag per hour when you leave your luggage after checkout (never seen this in any other hotel). Overall, an average place

Great location, right next to the beach. Room was handy to have small kitchenette. Tried to do laundry, wouldnt take quarters and error code for card payment. Front desk would not refund my $2 in quarters since the machines belong to 3rd party company, who is not available on the weekend to repair machines. Laundromat 3 blocks away solved the issue. Receptionist not very helpful.

We are sorry to hear that you did not have a great guest experience like so many of our other guests do. Every AC in the hotel can be fixed or replaced very quickly as soon as the hotel is notified. Guests can also be moved to another suites with an Ac that works very well. We find it hard to believe that the front desk team was rude and unhelpful. Thank you for letting us know about the Ac in your suite. We will investigate and make any necessary repairs that are necessary. We remain the best value for the price out of all oceanfront hotels on Miami Beach. We hope you will give us another try in the future.
