Property was pretty much as advertised. Hotel is showing it's age but it was pretty clean. Would have been nice if the room had a comforable chair or small couch - there was only a desk chair. The property used my hold credit card to pay in full before we checked in even though the reservation process on Expedia specifically stated this card would only be used to hold the reservation and we would pay in full upon arrival. Really messed up my vacation plans.

Nice atmosphere, better than I anticipated. Only downfall is if you have issues walking, you have to go up 8 steps to get to the elevator in the main building.

Unexpected parking fee parking fee They put us on the third floor Even after I said I had. Issues with walking stairs and then the elevator went out and they made no attempt to help us carry luggage or anything down three painful

Nice smaller hotel across the road from the beach, clean and helpful staff, plenty of places to eat nearby, decent pool area. Will definitely stay there again!

This is an older hotel redone. Only 1 block to the beach and a wonderful walking path. Plenty of restaurants for lunch and supper, less options for breakfast. Overall a good stay, would book again!

A nice stay
The Collins was in a great location. It was near restaurants, a Publix, a Walgreens, a barbershop. You can also catch the Miami Trolly for free to explore the area. The Collins was really clean, quiet, and the staff was really nice. We will definitely stay again. The one thing is there isn’t any elevators. But overall it was a nice place and affordable. If you are renting a car or driving your own they do charge a daily rate to park.

the elavator only works after the first floor and it is very small, it has not functional window to the sea but at 2.0mts of high from the floor. Personal in front was very nice and cooperative.

Hidden gem
I really liked this property. I found it on the app and was reasonably price and location was right across the street from the beach. I was able to check in early at 12pm and staff attentive. The room was very clean with comfy bed. It has a pool but i didn't use it because the first two days weather was bad due to lots of rain and gusty winds. Next time I visit MB i will stay here.

Everybody was very nice to me here and the property is in fine condition. It is not my first choice to come to this area in Miami as I have been here over 200 times and I do prefer to stay at a very different type of establishment, but for my purposes, everyone was very kind And the rooms were not unkept

The staff at the Collins were more than accommodating. We arrived super early, about 11:30am and they allowed us to check in early with no extra charge! Printed out some emails for us and gladly gave us directions every time we asked.

It. is a very friendly atmosphere at the hotel.Stsff is ready to help.Ovesn is at 10 minutes distance and there is a good swimming pool,clean enough.I enjoyed swimming in the pool.There are plenty places to eat near including Publix.
