The city is beautiful, a delight to walk around (and the Villagio Hotel is in a great location to start). We had a delightful private wine tasting and lunch tour with Caroline).
Wineries, casinos, and spas highlight some notable features of Mendoza City Center. Make a stop by Chile Square or Plaza Italia while you're visiting, and jump aboard the metro at Mendoza Station or Belgrano Station to get around town.

While Gobernador Benegas isn't home to many top sights, Palmares Open Mall and Achaval Ferrer Florida de Tupungato Winery are some notable places to visit nearby.
While Barraquero might not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Avenida San Martin and Spain Square.
When in Luzuriaga and the surrounding area, you'll want to check out sights like Navarro Correas Winery or Arena Maipu and hop on the metro to see more the city at Luzuriaga Station or Piedra Buena Station.
While Villa Hipódromo isn't home to many top sights, General San Martin Park and Malvinas Argentinas Stadium are some notable places to visit nearby.

We felt Safe here ( compared to Buenos Aires) Mendoza and the Wineries are World Class. And not crowded or rushed. Mendoza h
It was very hot when we were here about 34 to 37 degrees Celsius. We found tge city to be very walkable and pleasant.
Will return for another visit in the future. Friendly people. One of my best food and wine experiences. The food at the wineries was incredible.
