I was disappointed that the highway noise from trucks really ratcheted up about 5am. Also, the remote didn’t work for the air conditioner so I had to climb on a chair to adjust. And because of the road noise I wanted the fan to blow all night. Luckily it was cool enough outside that I could put it on fan only because when the air conditioner was running, the fan cycled on and off. There was a tour group who ate all the breakfast so there wasn’t much left when we came down, they should have anticipated that.

Did not like being automatically assigned a handicap room. The shower in a handicap room is not easy to use and leaves water all over the floor.

The rooms are outdated. Mold under the desk. Sofa looked dirty and worn. Other furniture looked aged. Staff was upset I wanted a refund. Breakfast was awful. Area was not cleaned. No one came to put out fresh food.

Upon arriving to the hotel we were advised that due to the hard freeze there was no water because of broken/frozen pipes. The manager on duty advised us that they couln't give us a refund since Expedia booked and paid for the rooms. The manager advised us that if we contacted Expedia that they would explain the issue and authorize the refund. Expedia has reached out to the property but a manager has not returned their calls. Since the property has not held up their end, Expedia cannot refund our money. Sorry way to treat a customer!

Compare to Hampton in and similar others, this is not even close. In our room ac and way up to the ceiling. Even a taller guy needs a ladder. The bath is very smelly because there are 2 water passing hole. Super smelly from drain.

Horrible never again
It was awful the bed was horrible and the air conditioning did not work. We woke up at 12 midnight and was burning up I called for help and they wanted to switch us to a different room with a double bed we was in a king size deluxe room. The toilet set was broke. I spent two hours in plugging the air conditioner and plugging it back up to get the room cool

Well, would you want to pay $125 for a night stay with breakfast included if the toilet seat slips to the side when you sit? Or you go down for breakfast at 915 on a saturday and there are no eggs or biscuits? Go back at 930 and still empty? No one in sight to ask either? We needed to get back on the road. The best western in texarcana was fantastic! The lady in the breakfast room was always there to talk to and make sure things were full. On the positive side the bed was vwry comfortable.

The staff was very friendly, but the room was noisy, air conditioning malfunctioning,there is not sound insulation from the highways, the constant noise does not let you sleep.
