Darling little inn right on the river. Gorgeous views of the river with a conversation pit along the water. Although the bathroom was somewhat dated and the showerhead needed replacing, everything was very clean. Staff was very helpful and kind. We enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby as well as the buffet breakfast.

It was very nice to be welcomed with a wine and cheese in the afternoon and warm cookies after dinner. The room was clean and nicely appointed. George was great!

April 5 - 6, 2024 Second time at this lodge. We enjoyed our stay so much a couple of years ago we decided to go back this past weekend for our anniversary. Stayed in the King room overlooking the river. If it had been a little warmer, sitting out on the deck would have been a little more enjoyable, but hey, it is only the first of April after all. The room was clean, bed comfortable. We did run out of tissue (both kinds) but just asked a friendly staff member who happened by and got what we needed immediately. The Taprock Grill across the street was a great place to eat. We ate there both nights and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and atmosphere, looking out over the Rogue River. We will definitely stay again.

Amazing view! George at the front desk was fantastic and went out of his way to make us comfortable! Only complaint was bed was a little saggy and the room smelled like mildew but I think it was the water because it was horrible smelling when we turned on sink. Otherwise great stay and amenities served!

George at check-in was so warm and friendly. He welcomed us with delicious fresh-baked cookies and wine, and ensured that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You really don’t see much of this type of outstanding customer service out there anymore.

Convenient from highway, good parking, nice breakfast, wine and cheese happy hour and cookies in evening are nice touch. Reataurants within walking distance, pub across the street. Pretty park and river view.

Great location right on the Rouge River! We stayed in a suite & the room was spacious, as one would expect, & the fireplace was cozy. Though it was winter, rainy & cold we did spend some time out on the balcony listening to Rouge & it was magical. When we are back the area, no matter the season, we will be back & can’t wait!

A lovely place! The doors lead outside, which caught me off-guard for a bit, but then I learned that there is a gated fence that goes around, so the area is perfectly secure. The lobby hosts complimentary wine hour and freshly-baked chocolate chips and milk hour, which is absolutely amazing. Not to mention, the atmosphere of the lobby is enchanting and makes a winter stay very pleasant and cozy. The breakfast buffet was also excellent and well-tended to. 10/10, would stay here again.

Amazing value AND a river view!
The Lodge at Riverside exceeded our expectations! Check-in was seamless, and George behind the counter was pleasant and quite humorous. Our room was spacious with a lovely patio and had a beautiful view of the river. They offer a complimentary wine and cheese reception each eve, and a full buffet breakfast each morning. Everything was wonderful and we will stay again!!!

George checked us in and was the consummate host during wine, cheese and, later, chocolate chip cookies. Our room was very quiet. My only criticism was the breakfast host, I asked about the waffle batter and received no help. I would expect the morning attendant to be knowledgeable about that.

The only issue I had was check in was at 3 but was not until after 4pm....I drove 3 hrs and had to find something to do until it was ready. I even called prior.

The staff at this lodge was amazing. From their hospitality, restaurant recommendations, and over all service- amazing! The lodge it’s self is adorable. Complimentary breakfast, wine and cheese tastings, and coffee and tea available in the lobby. The rooms could be a little cozier and updated but this was such a great stay! Recommend staying here!
