My company booked 11 hotelrooms for our staff during our stay in Malmö. Since this is a Scandic hotell, we thought that the quality of the hotell and service would be good, but this was by far the worst experience we had.
1. The front desk staff couldn't recommend a safe parking spot for one of our cars
2. The front desk staff had non service mind when we checked in, they didn't even help with a trolley for all the bags instead they made jokes about "are you moving in"
3. The front desk staff turned of the reception phone, resulting in that non of us could call down to the receptions. When we asked them about this they said "ah we havn't noticed, but it's been quiet"
4. We didn't get the rooms that we booked, and called to ensure that we would get. When we told the front desk staff about this the negotiated this and started to talk about that don't know what kind of beds are in the different rooms.
5. We needed to exted the stay in one of the rooms, since the front desk staff had turned of the phone we had to walk down to say this. The front desk confirmed the extended stay, but then called to say that she didn't see that the hotel was fully booked and that the room needed to be checked out. Since being in a meeting in a different part of the city, this new information on the all ready confirmed extended stay was to say the least very inconvinient.
Overall this hotell need to get new staff that know what custom service are, I will not recommend any to stay at this hotel
